We've been here many times before, but only at restaurant, which I also highly recommend. Rooms are comfy, spacious and the view from room's patio cannot be better. You can walk around old town during the day but for the night, this is the place to be!

A very unique affordable hotel located on a hill. The rooms have beautiful flowers and artistic decorations.

If I have to specify anything at all, we came for breakfast in the last hour and things were running out. Given that we were not meat eaters we were left with very minimal stuff to eat. Otherwise it has been good.

Quality of accommodation, tasteful decoration, relaxing environment. Guidance from the host to get to our roo. as soon as I booked as we were arriving here nearly midnight.

The walls of the rooms are very thin so you hear your neighbours at both sides. The room was also too warm and it wasn’t even warm weather. For us the bed was a bit to hard but of course that’s an individual preference.

The hotel has a great view at the historical town as well as the Kalvaria. Nice view from the restaurant balcony. The standard room comes with a patio. The room is very clean, with a small bathroom. There was also a little fridge in the room. The breakfast had a variety of warm and cold choices, hearty and sweet. The restaurant offers very tasty dishes at reasonable prices. We had salmon, chicken breast “cordon bleu” and Wiener schnitzel. All three recommended!

Small bathroom with water leaking on the floor, when we were taking a shower (although there was a curtain).

Very clean room, well furnished, on the ground floor, with trees and singing birds outside. We stayed only for 1 night so we didnt notice anything more. Free parking.

its an amazing spot, splendid view, fresh air, kind waiter, nice food. Maybe the 3rd bed can be less comfortable for some people, but we only stayed one night(unfortunately) so we really found everything perfect.

Everything was georgeos. The most beautiful part is the view of the old city center just from the terrace in front of our room. Fully recommend.

Curtains couldn't completely close together.

Fantastic view, comfortable bed, free parking, great breakfast, good coffee, size of the room was great, refrigerator, outside chairs and tables.

There were no towels for face & body, the walls are quite thin so you can hear other guests talking in their rooms. Also on the map it looked like it is close to the city center, but we had to go there with car as we did not find a way to go straight down the hill from the hotel.

We had a terrace with 2 chairs and a small table. Also - they have very strong breakfast which is nice. Cheers to a very nice lady from staff that was working in the morning!

Nothing to complain about, definitely one of the best places to stay in the city of Banska Stiavnica

We stayed for one night in the family room. There was a problem with the booking that was changed but it was quickly resolved by the owner. We really enjoyed a great dinner (we tried their very carefully selected wines too) and and breakfast on the terrace that offers one of the best views of this beautiful city. The family room is large and comfy and offers books and toys for young children.

But why on earth charge for the second cup of coffee at breakfast? So petty. And it leaves the guest with a bitter taste after a quite good stay. Silly, really. Come to think of it, the breakfast table was somewhat meagre, and the distance to town is quite far, walking.

It is a nice place, high above town, and thus with a great view. Try to get one of the rooms at the back for the view - we didn't. Restaurant is good, too
