Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

Super friendly staff with lots of hints what to do and where to go. Taught me some Slovenian - thanks for that :) Very quiet place in a lovely nature.

PolandNothing major, only few minor remarks: - rooms look a bit outdated, it looks more like 90' or early 2000' - general impression and standard is rather closer to mountain shelter than hotel - lack of fridge and coffee/tea set in a room
- there is a restaurant in the property with decent food and with long working hours - location might be a plus - it's a bit in the middle of nowhere, with nice surroundings but still 15min drive from highway - availability and long check-in hours - clean

Natasa, who welcomed and looked after us, was very, very friendly, helpful and nice We arrived quite late, but Natasa nevertheless conjured up a sumptuous dinner for us all within a short time. The breakfast was also very, very good. For a hotel that is somewhat remote in the mountains, it has every conceivable comfort! I want to return to this hotel one day

We met for the first time and not only I learned about secrets of the surrounding area but also I was invited to join a local small party, which made me feel literally as a family member. Exceptional experience. Apart from it, rooms in a high standard and a delicious breakfast. Ljubljana in 30 minutes by car.

HungaryVery nice host (Sebastian). We did not accept the welcome drink, but he invited us for drinking on our last night and had a good talk with him. The accomodation was really ok, big, ~40nm with two dogs was more than enough. Comfortable bed, clean kitchen and bathroom, very big sofa for realxing after long hiking.
