Perfect cottage in the midst of beautiful nature of Slovenia! Beautiful waterfall is only about 20mins from the cottage. The waiters were very nice to us! After difficult hiking they were willing to prepare us food, even when the restaurant was closing in 5 mins. They were also nice to help us with hiking plans. Was our first trip to Slovenia and because of this experience we would love to come back again!

Excellent location as starting point for a multitude of hikes. Breakfast being served as from 7 am, so sufficiently early before your hike. Vogel cable car was s included; nice & worth it! Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Could really of done with some glasses / cups in room to get water in the night

Friendly owner/staff really went out his way to look after us. We arrived late and they opened kitchen to feed us a meal was so kind. The area is tucked away in woods, great location to see the slap savica waterfall. Beautiful

In such an evenrioment I should not use soap or shower-gel in one dose plastic. Toon much plastic to throw away.

The location near the water gives after 8PM a enourmous rest. Basic but good restaurant, fast service. Basic breastfast but the lady who is responsible makes it great. Clean but small room, no airco needed.

Hotel is quite noisy so if you’re a light sleeper, bring some earplugs or fellow travellers might wake you up when arriving late/leaving early.

Perfect location for hiking, we didn’t mind driving to our dinner location. Staff was super friendly and breakfast really nice. Also great to see that they took feedback seriously and put mini-fridges into the rooms. overall, quite new building with nice and clean bathrooms. Don‘t expect any extras like blow-dryer, kettle or tea in the room - which we didn’t mind, but it’s good to know!

Room could've been cleaned during our stay, but that's a minor thing. Food and drinks are quite pricey down at the restaurant, compared to prices in Ukanc for example, but we were out anyway.

Location - great starting point if you want to explore the mountain, tour the lake... Plus it's really quiet during the evenings and night so you can get some rest after all that exploring ;) Staff - really friendly and nice, especially the lady who prepared us breakfast :)

We stayed at the Dom pri Savici for 2 nights. We booked last minute for short ski trip. We skied at Vogel ski resort for 3 days. We were really satisfied with the property. Everything went super smooth from check in to breakfast and dinner. The stuff were super friendly and ready to help with anything. Breakfast was really rich and had lot of different options. Dinner was also great, like you would cook at home :)) I would really recommend the place.

Everything was great. Just to clean the room ones a week during our stay and empty the garbage can would have been desirable.

Really friendly host which recomanded us some beautiful spots to visit, great breakfast and good coffee.nice and calm rooms with wooden furniture and mountain view. The host did even prepare the breakfast earlier just for us on our last day which was sunday so that we could have a breakfast before returning homewards.

It is really crowded here - there is a big parking for people that are coming to see the waterfall or go hiking. The parking is al around the hotel so during the day it is really busy there. Unfortunatelly they closed the restaurant very soon everyday so there was no chance for dinner here. I guess it was because of this weird COVID times...

The place is really nice! Hotel is beautiful and the waterfall that is nearby is breathtaking! They also serve nice food.

Despides the fact we were the only custumers, the owner waits for our late arrival and proposed to cook a dinner. The hotel is confortable with a great emplacement closed to the hiking way .

The room I was given was not the room I paid for. I rented a room with a terrace, but was given a small pine box with a portal window, that still had hair and crumbs from the previous guest on the nightstand and toilet. It was the smallest room I've ever been in, and was absolutely NOT the beautiful room pictured in the photos. The owner told me he rented my room out two days before I arrived even though i had my reservations for a month before arriving. He does not understand how the app works, or how to set up the site to advertise his own business, and then blames the customer and website for his own lack of understanding. We left and did not stay there bc he just didn't care about the mistake and insisted we still pay the price for the terraced room, for our tiny coffin room he wanted us to stay in. No way, we stayed the first night and checked out first thing in the morning. Never again.
