The bar and restaurant in the hotel were closed without prior notification and there were no alternatives in the immediate surroundings. Breakfast was served only until 8:30.

The owners were very friendly. They couldn't speak english, but tried all they could to understand me and to provide a comfortable stay for me.

A light sleeper might ask for earplugs because the guesthouse is located at a frequent road. But it was not a problem for me.

The hosts were great, very helpful, attentive, and communicated quickly. The room provided everything I needed. Parking is safe and free overnight.

I haven't met such warm hosts in a long time. The room was perfectly clean and the breakfast for one looked like it was prepared for 3 people. I can only recommend ❤️

This is a perfectly situated, small and apparently family-run hotel. I don't remember ever feeling so welcome at a hotel. It's way more home-like than any of the big business hotels I usually stay at. Breakfast is served in the restaurant downstairs.

Central location 15 min walk to train station. Good restaurant outside with shade cover. Large room double bed. Close to everything due to central location. Good communication regarding a item I forgot in room.

The boss a little bit touchy.. He was a sweetheart, taking care of everything for me and making sure I'm okay, too bad he ended up with putting the note in my pants. He crossed a line.

The team was really nice! The quiet, the village is small but very convenient to reach attractions around. The restaurant is good too. Special mention for the delicious mushroom soup!

Small, simple room; nothing was missing, but the overall experience is what it is for the money (it's not a hotel). Breakfast is not self-service.

We (2 adults and 2 kids) stayed for 7 days and observed (NOTICED) that we were given breakfast which were leftovers of the prior day! (ITS NOT A BUFFET; BREAKFAST IS ARRANGED AT YOUR TABLE) only after we complained did we get fresh breakfast next day, Thanks to the lady who understood English and explained to the couple who were serving us. The breakfast is prepared in the rooms of the 2 old couples and brought to the restaurant (not sure of the hygiene maintained there) (LAST 2 DAYS, BREAKFAST WAS MADE IN THE RESTAURANT I THINK). Though you have breakfast in the Restaurant it is not a part of the hotel i.e. breakfast is not prepared in the restaurant. No elevators (challenging to carry luggage to 2nd floor), No fridge, towels were not changed (Old SOILED towels were folded again AND KEPT!) only after complaining they brought fresh towels, the couple who were taking care did not understand English or pretended that they did not understand what we are saying. Bathrooms had no facility and housekeeping was unclean. Overall, if you stay for a day you will not understand what is happening but since we were there for 7days we understood everything. IT IS NOT A HOTEL, just some OLD rooms with beds.

Room was OK, air-condition worked but the vent is placed in the wrong place, it needs 10-20 mins to cool the rooms. IT IS NOT A HOTEL. Just some rooms to stay. Parking was not an issue for us but only 4 free slots in the compound. The restaurant staff is kind and good and understood English. Place is next to a church and very closed to Italy (Trieste, Venice and Padua) that was the only consolation. You can go in and out of Trieste without toll.
