How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The gym is not maintained properly. There is enough equipment but not organized or maintained.

The directions on the hotel website indicated the wrong track numbers for the local trains which was completely misleading. The furnishings in the room need updating.
The hotel conveniently located within a short distance from the train stop. The reception staff member on duty was kind and helpful, giving detailed a explanation about how to get to the airport.

Perfect location less than 5 minutes from the nearest train station and even closer to Stockholmsmässan. Bar has good fast food so you can get food in addition to the restaurant which I didn’t try.

Hotel building is unappealing and is in an area that does not offer anything, however it is well connected and the travel time to the city centre is very short. Lobby area is small and not inviting. Quality of bed sheets, towels and toiletries, decent but not great.
Spacious clean rooms. Breakfast was included and the buffet had a wide selection of options of good but not top quality. Overall good value for money.

the exterior of the hotel may be outdated,
A special thank you for the staff of the hotel. They are very kind. The location is excellent. The Hotel is just few minutes away from the train station that connect to the downtown. The free parking make it very suitable also for those that are traveling by car. The hotel is clean and the breakfast very good.

There was a school trip of something and the kids were running up and down the corridor for the 2 nights screaming. Not even earplugs could block out the noise.

The facade of the building could be repainted, the building itself looks dated, however everything inside is fresh and shiny!

Bathroom a bit outdated and breaking apart.
Rich breakfast and easy access to the hotel. It had a small playground for kids next to the breakfast room. The Room was ok, you have a trainstation and markets nearby with restaurants. This was all fine for us for a quick dinner.

Although there’s nothing really wrong, it’s quite dated, e.g. difficult to find a socket to charge your phone. Also the bathroom is quite big but there’s no space to stall your items.
It’s well placed near a good train line, going into the centre of Stockholm. The rooms are comfortable, no complaints. Staff is friendly.

The old hotel that needs some renovation. And nothing else negative.
Clean hotel. Clean and big enough room for family of foure. Big and comfortable beds. Good breakfast. Nice personal. Strong Wi Fi. Big free parking. Good location. Very good value for money. We will probably coming back.

Nothing to complain about!
Nice family room, with proper space and beds for everyone in the family. Excellent breakfast buffet with a lot of choices. Free parking with many available spots.
