Brilliant location, clean, easy to find and good facilities

Excellent location, lovely easy walk to the city centre and 2min walk to a supermarket. Comfortable, clean, quiet and spacious apartment. Great kitchen. Excellent communication, host answered all our questions promptly. We stayed for a week and had everything we needed.

The apartment was beautiful, with all the facilities you need. I also appreciate the equipped kitchen with the possibility to cook your own food. The location is great, the surroundings are quiet, but at the same time everything is within reach. The host also asked if we needed anything.

We had a terrific stay here! The apartment was clean, beautifull decorated, fully equipped with everything one could need and the host was exceptionally friendly. The apartment is even more beautiful than on the pictures! The location of the apartment is in a lovely quiet area of the town next to a pretty river but still within 5 minutes walking distance of the town center. (Check out the beautiful street art at the side of the building, it's stunning and speaks volumes about the apartment) We had a wonderful stay here all around and I can only recommend this apartment to anyone who visits Karlstad!

The bathroom needs some update but it was still clean and useful. We prefer shower instead of bath and also would like to have better ventilation. The two beds were not the same hight but did not cause any problem for us. They were still comfortable.

Anna-Lena, the owner, was extremely helpful and nice. She gave a lot of good information and presented the whole appartment of ours as well another appartment that she rents. The one bedroom appartment that we rented for four nights has a very good view to the canal, it was cosy and spacious, too. The kitchen equipment was good, especially I liked the knives which quite often are very blunt - not in this appartment. The frying pans were worn-out, but when telling that to Anna-Lena, she bought new frying pans :). Even though there was no air condition (except the open windows and fans), it was not that warm as we could keep the windows open and the big trees by the canal are giving some shadow to the rooms which are against the morning sun.

Because of the windows facing south it became hot in the sleeping and dining rooms during the day when we didn't keep the blinds closed.

The location was almost perfect: a five-minute-walk from the city center and yet very quiet. The landlady was very friendly and helpful. And in the backyard of the building there was a parking lot that we could use.

Nothing at all

I made breakfast myself in the kitchen. The location was just excellent, a very short distance from the Karlstad Congress Center, some museums and parks, the river Klarälven and last but not least, the city center.

The accommodation has a perfect location. The apartment was big and had everything we needed. Comfortable bed and couch. Overall really cosy and clean.

We had to drive through the city to get to a store, just to pay. It would have been nice if we could have payed over booking.com or something, as their one way roads left us driving around for 10 minutes, as parking lots were equally hard to find. Instructions for parking over longer periods were a bit confusing, we were told to park on lot 1 during the stay, but on lot 2 the next day, only to find that lot 2 was occupied. Had to find another parking lot in the city. We were four people staying, and it was difficult to find the stuff needed to convert the couch into a bed (we couldn't find linnen nor pillows, only a blanket/duvet.

The place was very clean and had all sorts of different facilities (such as bathtub, tv and lots of kitchen appliances). The place is good and suitable for long term stays. The location is good, just by the lake, and a 10 minute walk to the center and the Sandgrund museum. Over all very nice.

No linen on bed, lack of toilet paper, nosy host requesting inspection on day 3 (which I turned down), only 3 local TV stations, tiny bathroom with shower in bath tub, cleanliness, no house number on premises, passer by's calling us racist for no apparent reason as we never uttered a word to anyone. No laundry facilities.
