How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Lack of movement of air in the room makes it stuffy. Air conditioning could be a lot better.
Well built, clean, high level of functionality. Good breakfast. Lovely sauna on the top floor. Would have loved to have a little more leisure options considering the price.

Modern and comfortable room, clean and very quiet despite the position. Excellent breakfast, staff is very nice and helpful. City centre is at 30 - 40 minutes walking distance, public transpostation nearby.

Elite Hotel Carolina Tower is a beautiful contemporary hotel in Stockholm. In particular the hotel is well positioned for any business trip regarding the Karolinska institute and the companies nearby. The room is beautiful and the curtains are heavy enough to shield the light in the summer months. The breakfast is complete with a lot of different choices, with the peculiarity of the waffle bar. The staff is very gentle and always available.

When the hotel is full which it was, the breakfast room is not dimensioned even with the slots time.

Slightly further out from the city but easy to walk or scooter down the road!
Incredible breakfast. Great breakfast to go when leaving early in the morning. Very friendly staff at reception. Beautiful view over the city from the 16th floor where the gym is.

No choice of different types of coffee at breakfast (e.g. no latte, cappuccino etc)
Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The bed was fabulous! The selection at breakfast was one of the best I've seen.

Gymn could be a bit bigger, but for an easy short morning workout it does the job
Very comfortable, great breakfast , friendly staff, new interieur and good design. Location for us was excactly what we wanted. Easy to get to via Airport bus, still part of the city with shops and restaurants relatively close by. It is not in the absolute inner city center, but those accomodations are often very expensive, over crowded, sometimes a bit "old" and not always a good choice. The Karolinska Institut is close by, therefore guests are oft professionals which creates a good mixture of guests. Good range of vegan and lactose free and gluten free products for breakfast. Apart from that nice choice of sweet and salty breakfast offers. I would definitely book it again.

Overcrowded breakfast even though you need to pick a certain time interval to come to eat
We loved that the room was spacious and nicely equipped, the staff was friendly, location was easy to reach from city center by bus or metro. Breakfast had plenty of options.

Great breakfast and and amazing crew to help us. It is well localized if you had to go to the Karolinska Institute. Kind of far of downtown but nothing that is really and issue. It is easy to walk to places or take public transport.

We booked a time slot for breakfast but it was still very very crowded. Trying to find a table every morning and trying to zigzag through queues for food was not desirable…
The breakfast was delicious, the room was very big and bed very comfortable, especially the pillows. The staff was very nice, and the open room sauna concept, on the 15th floor was very refreshing!

To be honest, everything was good. I have nothing to complain about.
Breakfast was truly amazing, the offer was very delicious. Beds were comfortable, the bathroom clean. Service made the stay even better, so thank you so much, it was an amazing weekend at your hotel :)

Design at the reception and in the hotel room. Fantastic view from the 13rd floor. Comfortable bed and furnitures . The restaurant is very cozy, breakfast was superb, delicious and tasty with various food.

Good quality hotel for the price, we had a nice stay, staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were good size with comfortable beds. We spent a good time in downstairs restaurant with our friends. There was a lot of choice for breakfast.

Bedroom was a bit cold. We could have more toiletries considering there is two of us and shower gel was half empty but not a problem.
I like the property’s design. Very modern. Breakfast is the best part! Good service. Location is very accessible and near to everything. Staff are friendly.
