How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Hadn’t realised it would have the feel of a business hotel - lots of conferences and people there for work. Not a problem, but hadn’t realised this and felt a bit out of place at times as I was there on holiday!
Breakfast excellent, smart and clean hotel. Good location to explore.

We had read previously that the breakfast is outstanding, but it was very average. Nothing was missing though. The coffee was bitter.
Everything was clean, comfortable beds, excellent location.

We arrived very early and had a concert later and the person working at the desk was so lovely and checked us in early. we really appreciate that made the concert so much more fun as we got to rest. the breakfast was delicious

We only stayed for one night, but the staff were extremely friendly and let us check in early as the room was ready which was appreciated. The room although small for a triple room was very clean and the beds were extremely comfy!

The rooms are geared up for business or a short term stay say a weekend as the rooms are small and don’t have a great deal of space for clothing.

Room was small but adequate. Our bathroom was very small and basically flooded each time we had a shower which wasn’t ideal. The room also needed a mirror near a plug socket which sounds picky, but it was difficult to get ready in the mornings with only the one plug socket in the bathroom. This could be easily rectified with a more accessible mirror. A minor point but Chromecast didn’t work for us.
Good value hotel in a great location perfect for exploring Stockholm with plenty of transport links nearby. Staff were lovely and really helpful and breakfast was really good with plenty of gluten free options. It was nice and quiet too.

The bathroom wasn’t very well cleaned.. we found hair in the bathtub, sink, and floor on our night of arrival. The drain was partially clogged.
Very good location, wonderful neighborhood. Breakfast was very good. Beds were nice size, and the room in general was nice for two people.

No bidet🙃. Or I don’t if it’s not a thing in Sweden😊
Overall the stay was good and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. We’ll definitely stay here again if we come back.

It's a bit smelly in the toilet, which probably came from the floor drain. Fortunately, the staff helped me change to another room.

The bathroom was very outdated. It didn’t match the rest of the hotel. I also found the room cold. Most staff members were very helpful and friendly, however, one of the women at the reception was quite rude when I told her that I was cold. She was sarcastic and a bit demeaning.
The breakfast was great. The hotel had a generally modern feel to it. The location was good. There were many restaurants and cafes nearby and it was a 15 minute walk to central Stockholm.

The breakfast was pretty good, yet it was more dishes to choose from during weekend rather then week days. Elevators cloud be bigger and more contemporary for this number of guests.
