A little noisy as so close ABBA museum and karaoke event on the day we arrived - but who can object to ABBA!!

ABBA music from 10am to 5pm - ha ha - it’s ok really

It’s lovely if you like ABBA music as you are directly above the ABBA museum - very close to Vasa Museum - this was our reason for booking it - the tram and bus stop is right outside the hotel. Excellent breakfast

Getting to Backstage on foot from the central train station is a very pleasant medium-length walk. The staff were all very courteous, polite, and helpful. Breakfast options in the morning are plentiful and include a cold buffet + choices from the hot menu. Accommodations were hip, modern, and comfortable. Highly recommend!

It is a bit pricy hotel.

The location of the hotel is great, close to all museums and only walking distance to old town and city center. The breakfast was exceptional. Room was nice and clean and staff was attentive. We enjoyed staying in this hotel.

Excellent location near the major museums. Great access to both ferry and tram. So easy and atmospheric to ride home across the harbour from Gamla Stan after a night out. Amazing buffet breakfast. Spacious bathroom.

Not the fault of staff at all but the inflated price for the Swifties was a bit much. We were however able to get a room for the extra night although a down grade for the same price as our fabulous room. Even the downgraded room had many amenities and was wonderful.

Staff is amazing. You feel as if they know you! Upgraded room in the old building is fabulous with loads of amenities. We were able to extend our stay a day even though Taylor Swift was in town! Breakfast was huge and delicious!

The front desk was often not staffed for long periods of time while they were doing other tasks. That’s not great in a hotel.

Nice hotel in a great location for visiting Stockholm. Comfortable beds and linen. Excellent breakfast.

When you shower, the bathroom gets filled with water. It is a bit wasteful.

Breakfast was brilliant. The front desk guy from Lithuania was extremely good at his job.

Most of the staff members were beyond great, very welcoming and professional, but some of them were absolutely careless to say the least. The experience during breakfast was very different based on the personnel. Their tones, facial expressions, body languages made some mornings wonderful, some mornings were just not a great start.

What you can expect: an extremely clean hotel, perfect size rooms, wide range of varieties at breakfast, an atmospheric restaurant, excellent location.

Drawer frame was broken so every time I opened drawer the frame comes out, 3 of us in the room but on some days only 2 towels given

The only thing I can think of whilst there was avast array of alternatives to milk , the only option for milk we could see was Lactose Free skimmed milk. It would have been good to have some Semi-skimmed milk.

We booked to see Mamma Mia the Party so the hotel was in the perfect location for this. We booked the afternoon show so I put in a request to get into our room before 15:00. The receptionist was great about this and said our room was ready. She was fantastic, very helpful, friendly and professional. The breakfast was good, it was great that you has to order the hot food and fruit, which meant it was cooked food was hot and the fruit wa fresh. also good variety of cold dishes and the freshly prepared fruit juices where so good. Checking out was simple and quick and as we had booked the Abba Museum the same receptionist fixed it for us to leave our overnight bag in a secure place.

There are not enough parking lots for all the guests.

Smiling, friendly and helpful staff at the reception who even knew some Ukrainian words) The hotel is pet friendly.

Nothing! It was simply perfect.

What a wonderful gem! The rooms are tastefully decorated and have almost everything you need. The hotel is perfectly located to get anywhere around town! Public transportation adjacent to the premises and within walking distance to most museums, some bars and restaurants. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend trying Backstage Hotel next time you stay in town. Also - the breakfast menu / buffet was simply amazing and very special - they offered a fresh and delicious variety of options.

An option for coffee options like Cappucino, Flat White, etc. Only "cop coffee" available at the breakfast.

Very nice boutique style interior. Also enjoyed the free a la carte breakfast in addition to the buffet. In-room TV with screencast option. Great locations on Djurgarden, invites to a walk along the river in the park close by.
