How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Fair distance from city centre, but bus was close and easy to catch.

The staff at the hotel was very friendly and the service was exceptional. Breakfast buffet had a wide variety of food to choose from and everything was delicious. The hotel has a parking garage on premise (small fee has to be paid) so you don't need to worry about the parking place.

I would prefer liquid soap in the bathroom.

Nothing comes to mind at the moment. We didn't really have any bad experiences and everything was the way it was advertised.
Fast check in, beautiful clean rooms, and the hotel is really close to the train station. The hotel bar was also really nice. Overall, really relaxing atmosphere.

Very Clean and modern rooms with nice furniture. The breakfast is standard but good. Free Parking in front of the hotel, but you can also park in the hotels garage (extra charge). Fast WiFi connection. Great value for money.

There were no major issues to report, other than the slow automatic light in the hallway on the first floor. For some reason, it did not switch on when I was going to the elevator from the room, so I had to use mobile phone torch light. It was working properly on my way back to the room.
Hotel is located near the railway and bus station, some 15 min of walking, and it's easy to take a taxi to get to other parts of the city. Our room was great, very comfortable, clean, and the bathroom and shower were superb. Breakfast had some pretty good choices, along with the standard hotel offer. Staff was very attentive to the breakfast situation and levels of juices and food. Staff in general was very pleasant and effective during the check in and check out.

When there are a lot of smoking people at the restaurant on the ground floor, you can even smell it in your room on first floor if you’re not far enough from the stairs

Great location, amazing comfy rooms that were extremely clean. There is free parking provided in front of a hotel, or you can park in a garage for 6€/day.

It was a bit far from the center. Even though we like to walk in general. But at the end of the day, it was around 50 minutes to the city center and after the walking whole day, it was a bit exhausting to go back. So if you plan to enjoy the city for a few days maybe it is worth considering something closer.
I liked everything. The hotel is modern, the room was clean, the breakfast was quite diverse, personnel was nice. We used parking, it cost 6 euros per night. I didn't know about the gym but turned out there was a gym. I didn't like the cigarette smoke coming through the hole in the door at night, but it wasn't smelly in the room itself. In general, I have a feeling they don't smoke inside the hotel and restaurant which is so rare in Novi Sad and I appreciated it. I like the electronic curtains that could make the room even darker in the night to sleep well and I feel also noise isolating.

Very cold when arrived. Had to ask to start heating. Cannot turn off lamp just with taking the card out - then you cannot charge the mobile phones.
Clean, modern, large room. Nice furniture Good breakfast, excellent coffee. Can park on street close.
