How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Wonderful stay, wonderful people. You can tell the owners have put their heart into creating a new and beautiful hotel that sets itself apart from the old Eforie Nord vibe. A team of people providing great service and putting their clients at the center of everything they do.

I would have preferred a bit more diversity for the breakfast…only 3 options for kids below 1 year old (omlette, yogurt and some fruits).
Very clean hotel, professional staff, close to the beach, new furniture, comfortable bed, tasty breakfast.

Breakfast could be slightly improved in the sense that maybe it could be a little more varied. We only stayed for 4 days, but for those who stay longer, it’s likely it will get boring and repetitive. Delicious breakfast nevertheless 👍🏻
Very welcoming and friendly staff, the rooms and the hotel in general was spotless clean. A 5 minute walk to the beach.

This hotel is simply perfect! Starting with the staff, everybody was super kind and friendly, also dedicated and nice. The hotel is extreamly clean, they change my towals every day, and the sheet after 2 night. The breakfast was delicious and not the same every day, a lot of diversity of nice cheeses and small apletizers. The location is 2 minutes from the sea, and from the balcony of the rooms you can see the sun rising from it😍☀️🌊 This hotel is more a 4* star hotel than a 3*,and I will definetly return here with my heart open if I will stay again in Eforie. Good job Novus Team, keep up the good work! 😁

The apartment was big enough for 3 people, the rooms were clean, the bathroom also. We stayed at the 3rd floor and we could see the sea. It was a very good stay. The food was good, plenty for everybody, a variety of sweets each morning. The staff was pleasant and ready to help you with every need, if it be. We would definitely come back another time.

Location & Surroundings Couldn't see see the the sun coming out of the water. I was at the 3rd floor and the view was obstructed by another house. The booking. com "seafront" description of the location suggests that the hotel is right on the sea shore The pictures on booking.com support this suggestion. However, it is not not. The location shown on the map is correct. Around the hotel there the roads are unpaved or unimpaired after sewage installation. Maybe net year will be better.
Very new ( opened June 2021), very clean, good taste finishing. Nothing to complain about regarding the property itself. The staff was friendly and competent, too.

Everything was just great. Nothing to complain about!
Location is great! Easy access to the beach. Not only the hotel is a new building, but also the design is also really lovely. Rooms are really spacious, exceptionally clean, air-conditioned, fresh towels and a fridge. Each room has a balcony with a clothes airer and a table with chairs. Bathroom is large enough and well lit. A hairdryer is available in the bathroom. To top it up, the owner himself welcomed us and the staff are really friendly. I was also really impressed of the high level of professionalism they showed. Definitely going to visit again. It was worth every single penny.

Great location - the beach is within 5 minutes away from walking distance. The room was clean, the towels were changed very fast and the staff was super friendly and helpful.

Brand new family run hotel ! Great facilities, spotless clean with comfortable beds , aircon , big fridge , plasma tv , wifi etc The owner is very helpful and his passion re building the hotel and the quality are visible.
