Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

The location was very convenient, we were close to everything - shops, restaurants, bars. Breakfast was having everything needed for the energetic start of the day. We will come back to this hotel when we are back in Krakow.

ItalyThe curtains don't block out the light enough. The shower takes a long time to get warmer. TV doesn't work.
The staff is extremely kind. They do the extra mile to assist you. The hotel is located in the centre of the Jewish neighbourhood, surrounded by plenty of restaurants and bar. Breakfast was super tasty. The room was small but very clean with nice furniture.

United KingdomHave to prebook what you would like for breakfast and the time you want it the night before. Tv didnt work although we were told this was due to a recent storm. Staff on reception only available 10:00-18:00 friday to sunday but available by text 24 hours. Bedroom was small but we were told this is because we had booked a 'budget' room but booking.com didn't give any other alternatives. Bathroom was also small and my husband had to sit down to use it.
Very clean hotel and rooms with minimal external noise. Very comfy beds. Good shower. Breakfast was lovely. Staff friendly. Excellent location. Lots of restaurants, shops and bars on your doorstep. Tram within a 5 minute walk.

BrazilThe shower box is very small; sometimes, the bath starts hot but gets cold. There was no elevator, so we had to carry our luggage upstairs.
The location is amazing, with several nice restaurants, bars, cafés, and street food nearby. The triple room is spacious, the staff is super friendly and accommodated all our requests. We took our 2 dogs with us and our stay was very pleasant.

United StatesThis quaint hotel matched the feel of Kazimierz and helped me feel as if I was back in pre-WWII Poland. The location was perfect both for exploring Kazimierz and Old Town Krakow. I walked everywhere. Lots of good restaurants and sights close by. Housekeeping was thorough and early; I travel a lot and often have to prompt hotels for housekeeping. But not here; they were on top of things themselves. But the BEST part was the staff! Friendly. Gracious. Helpful. Patient. They never made me feel as if I asked too many questions (which I can do). Made me want to return!

United KingdomI booked an apartment with separate living area , safe and fridge. When I arrived it was not an apartment but a room. Upon visiting reception to inform them this was not the room booking I had made, I was advised they do not have any apartments. I provided them with my booking detail's , description of room etc, as booking was made through booking.com They where very apologetic and telephoned presumably the manager /owner for guidance. We did come to an amicable agreement . Please be aware when booking they only have rooms …. we did have a wonderful stay!
Staff where excellent in particular Pavlov who's main focus was to sort the problem I had presented to him. Beautiful building with lots of character and history. Clean, comfortable rooms. The location is perfect right in the centre of the Jewish district.

The location is great, for me I didn't want to stay near the city center. From the hotel it's a 25-35 min walk to the city center. The location is great lots of traditional food within walking distance.
