How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

I had trouble understanding the instructions to get the keys and get in. A bit of confusion amongst the buildings and where to park but once that was sorted, it was great.

We missed forks and a frying pan in the kitchen. The handle of the bathroom door was not well attached - sometimes the handle remains in the hand when the door is opened :) The bedroom closet door does not close. I know, I'm pedantic, but I would clean this apartment more carefully... :)
Comfortable apartments overlooking a beautiful building. Perfect for a short stay. The location was perfect for our needs. There are many theaters, bakeries, shops and places to eat around. The apartment is in a building on the second line from the street, so it's very quiet here, I like it :) Two colleagues stayed here, so we had separate areas: a bedroom and a living room with a sofa bed. Very comfortable bed. Instant coffee and tea are available in the kitchen. The host accepted our request for the late check-in. Thank you :)

It is a good apartment in the central part of the city. You have everything you need inside. A store really close. The beds in the living rooms are sofas you need to unfold, but surprisingly the mattresses there were really comfortable.

Amazing apartment. Perfect location. Less than 10 min to Old Town. Clean, host sent all instructions how to get in. Parking near apartment. Winery and bar near the apartment with good food and drinks. Just ~3 km from the stadium PGE Narodowy that we attended that weekend to go to the concert.

The location je perfect. It was easy to come from the airport (directly, with bus line 175) and easy to reach all important places. Metro station Ratusz Arsenał is very close to the apartment. I easily reached The Warsaw University of Life Sciences - SGGW where I had the Symposium using metro and bus 193. The old town, which is in the immediate vicinity, is incredibly beautiful. Apartment is modern (my impression is that it is completely renovated), clean and functional (as it contains everything you need not only for couple of days, but also for longer stay - washing mashine, iron and ironing board ...). I really enjoyed the stay in the 'Old Town Grand Theatre Apartment 2'.

Located in a very good location. Right next to the National Theatre. Along Senatorska street, you can reach the old town in just a few minutes. The keys to the apartment were easy to find and the instructions for finding it were easy to understand. The apartment is nice and clean. Two adults with three school-age children fit nicely.

The room had two single beds that are one size smaller than a dorm bed. Perhaps it was my fault for not reading the description carefully. The apartment wasn’t clean and the restroom had a strong sewage smell.
Location is good. Parking is provided.

It wasn't very clean in general, random hair laying around, found a sock under bed, the toilet wasn't properly washed. Bed sheets - not sure if they were washed after last visitors. Impression is that it wasn't, at least it felt used for sure. The double bed sofa wasn't comfortable, it has been used for a while it seems. Also, the floor and doors very creaky.
Location was perfect for exploring city center. Free parking spot was a big plus for us traveling with our own car. The flat had everything we needed.

The apartment was not clean. Crumbs left on the kitchen counter and drawers. Stains on walls. Hair on the bathroom floor and sink. Would benefit a deep clean for sure.
Very well situated in the old town. Walking distance to many shops, restaurants and attractions.

Problem with parking, there were no place for the car in the yard, so we had to find place in the street and pay for parking. The worst bed ever I had. Time to change it.
Good location. Quiet place and close to the old town.
