Suffice to say, we felt sad to be leaving.

Exceptionally attentive staff and watchful supervision. Attention to detail. Everything was well maintained. Beautiful flower arrangements and gardens. The leisure centre has a great pool, gym, sauna and steam bath. Excellent buffet breakfast at the Escolta Restaurant and imaginative food in the Lobby Lounge. The Gin trolly. Well stocked. They even had Monkey 47!

Beautiful old world style hotel. Very grand entrance and foyer. Whilst room could be considered dated it wasn’t tired. Exceptional quality throughout. Very extensive breakfast selection. Staff very keen to be helpful

The gym could be bigger although I like the Lifegitness machines We like firm and comfortable beds. The beds in our room are somewhat older, although still acceptable .

Rooms were dated and small. I'd certainly expect a bit more from a 5 star property but it is old but well maintained. It's just hard for an older hotel to compete with newer designs.

Spa was nice but small with no cold plunge :( Also the entrance is very grand and is like stepping back in time. Very cool place to spent a few hours.

TOP 10/10. Impressive Lobby, top Bar, pool & gym perfect. One of our best breakfasts in our Asia-Trip. Furthermore short distance for shopping and restaurants. Would book again!

The bathroom toiletries are excellent but are in small tubes. As these are soon used, perhaps there should be one set issued per occupant.

The staff here are always efficient and attentive. This trip they were particularly helpful and even recalled our previous visits and requirements. The fresh flower displays in the lobby are magnificent. Many came from Baguio and apparently some were from Ecuador! We enjoyed the facilities at The Gallery Club. A good range of food and drinks are provided throughout the day and the lounge is peaceful and overlooks the picturesque lobby. The Spices restaurant offers a large and tasty collection of dishes originating in the East. The restaurant staff are knowledgeable and refreshingly engaging.

The lobby of this hotel is a destination in itself. Our room was luxurious and grand. The hotel was generous with its “extras”. We would have stayed longer if we could.
