Warm welcome by Sally to a serene and peaceful vineyard location. Excellent greeting wine (Pinot Gri). Their tasting room/restaurant was beautiful. We'll definitely return for longer stay.

Excellent retreat for my wife and I. We were tired from lots of driving. The facility was what we needed to relax and recover. The meal and wine were excellent. Great place!

The views, the facilities and the staff were extremely praiseworthy. It’s a great stay in vineyard. The room was absolutely great and the restaurant was just cherry on the top. We also really loved the bathtub with views of the mountains and extremely loved the sunset.

Very smart self contained, modern & stylish unit. Ideally located with fabulous views. Complementary bottle of wine in the room along with the usual provisions. Plenty of towels. Staff very welcoming and attentive.

Loved it all but wish we could’ve done wine tasting when we arrived at 3.30!

The retreat is gorgeous and the view is amazing! The small details in the space like the strip lights and built in speakers, to the Nespresso coffee and bottle of wine to say thank you! The room has a cosy feel and the outdoor bath was amazing! We will definitely be coming back and recommending to friends and family in the future!

The restaurant isn’t open for dinner yet, definitely pre book at a restaurant in town.

Stunning accomodation still so close to the city. The outdoor bath tubs are delightful and private.the views have you sitting taking it all in for hours. Definitely looking forward to being back one day!

Value for money was not there for us.

Katie was excellent when we checked into the room. The room was quiet (no TV) , good location. May have rated this better if the restaurant had been open either night we stayed at the property.

There was no facility to reheat food in the unit which would have been beneficial due to not being able to get food onsite after 4pm. We had wine in the afternoon and had snacks but were not able to drive down to Christchurch to get food as had consumed wine in the afternoon. Maybe a small section to walk and take photos in a portion of the property/vineyard would have been nice as it is a retreat - however do understand it is an operational vineyard and therefore may not be safe. Parking closer to the unit we were staying in - the park outside our unit was disabled parking and we have to walk to the main carpark with our bags, parking at 2pm was difficult to find in the main carpark as there were many people in the restaurant.

It was very relaxing and the outdoor tub was lovely. The restaurant for the vineyard closed at 5pm so we ordered Uber eats for dinner as 4pm was too early to order dinner. There is no television in the retreat, however there are games to play which was nice. And they provided a bottle of the vineyards wine in the fridge. The view was amazing! and the privacy was lovely.

A larger fridge and some milk would have been helpful.

We wanted a place close to the city, but removed from daily life. This ticked all the boxes. Beautiful location, great outdoor bath, no TV, amazing sound system. Perfection.
