Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

NetherlandsPersonally, parking in your garage should be free to entice more people from choosing your hotel, especially so of you have a suite. I expected there to be a little more service included when you have a suite, just the little extra for having a special room. Again, this would also trigger more people from choosing an upgrade. Breakfast is way too expensive for what you get. Yes, a lot of choices but not many people eat for 23 euros worth of Breakfast on a regular basis. Your lights in the saunas need checking as they were blinking. You should also have a info sign in the wellness stating times of cleaning so that persons sitting in any of the saunas are not surprised and no longer relaxed when a cleaner suddenly walks in and starts to clean. Having a schedule of some sort visible creates understanding from your guest and awareness. Last thing that caught me by surprise is that none of your soaps in the room or the wellness is free of parabens, which many people these days are allergic to. You should consider switching to a provider like Rituals or a cheaper yet still great alternative: marcel green soap. Can also be marketed as sustainable. Just some suggestions ;-)

Its like 5 min from the train station so it is defo one thing I love. Also, I CANNOT NOT mention about the spa, the steam room, pool and the gym. My partner and I go twice a day and still don't have enough of it.

Beautiful, very clean, tidy, great views. Well Sound proofed, so couldn’t hear anyone else. The bed was massive and extremely comfortable. The options for breakfast were endless and fresh There was a pool, restaurant and bar which we unfortunately didn’t have time to use. I would love to go back and try another. Very close to the station, we didn’t have any issues with the location however did not realise Amsterdam trams do not run late so bear that in mind

IcelandWaiting for the lift, because they were quite busy most of the time. The changing room at the wellness spa, is for both men and women, no sign telling that it was so.
The wellness spa was excellent, with 3 different saunas. The madras in the bed was perfect and the shower was great.
