How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

not close to city center. There is not any market near area. (only the hotel has a small market inside) I did not like the window railing, it totally prevents to see beutiful scene.
We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights and everything is perfect including foods. If you are travelling for business, it is definietely perfect choice. it is only 10 minutes far away from RAI exhibition center.

1. I have booked a complimentary beverage online which never received. 2. In our last night there was a different chef than the prior 2 nights, the food was served cold with no taste 3. On the third day we had a friends over which are local and we asked to order pizza to their 3yo, the waiter told us we can order from the take away menu, when we got the food it appeared to be that she can’t it in the restaurant, even though the food was made in the restaurant kitchen🤬.
The location was beautiful and allowed us to walk to most of our destinations. The service in the first 2 days was great. The food on the first 2 days was quick and good

This is one of the few hotels in the area that accepts pets. I booked rooms for myself and one for my mother - with her dog. We were happy with our rooms and breakfast. We will certainly book her again.

Its location…quite a long way from Amsterdam attractions, the tram stop and no shops etc nearby. Felt “isolated” as it appeared to be in an area of offices

Room was dusty so housekeeping not perfect. Reception staff were mostly unfriendly and we seemed like a chore to them. We were not asked if we had a good stay.
Breakfast was good when quiet with plenty of choice. Room was large and comfortable. Parking great and good value. Bar and restaurant comfortable and convenient. Bar and restaurant staff friendly and helpful.

The greeting of the staff. I couldn't check in but was referred to the automatic check in which didn't work. I had to get irritated to get some help and to check in with an employee.
The location was great. Also great parking! Quiet and still central.

It’s quite noisy, I keep hearing loud music and banging all night. Breakfast was okay but not very high quality.
Room size is good. Bed is comfortable. Shower is strong. WiFi is good. Good kitchenette.

Hotel was lovely, rooms clean, bed comfortable and good price. Only thing was it's a bit outside city but tram just down the road and taxis weren't too expensive.

Deposit was confusing and checkout was difficult to understand with the deposit less the tourist tax and paying more money even though we had approved the deposit payment we didnt understand

The location is not that great, the closest supermarket is 20 min away. However, the value money-quality was amazing!
Very nice staff, they let me check in early and check out a bit later just by filling in a form as a member. Very good facilities, the gym was great and everything was super clean. They are very concious about being ecological and there were nice coffee capsules and teas in the room that were refilled daily. The kitchen was well equipped too. Would definitely come again!!

The reception with the check in wasn’t friendly, with check out they were very friendly. They staf started a meeting during breakfast. It was disturbing and as a guest I don’t want to hear there talk.
It is perfectly located for traveling. Diner was very good and the breakfast was also good.

The location was slightly far out from the centre but transport links only about 10 min walk
Property was clean and very nicely laid out. The rooms were lovely with a small kitchenette. Really handy! Really enjoyed it

When me and my boyfriend had dinner, it took the staff super long for them to get our order. We waited half an hour since they gave us the spot to sit. (It wasnt that busy). But besides that they were nice! Did wanted to mention that as well :)
The feel and look of the hotel inside was very comforting and relaxing. The hotel room was bigger then expected and very cozy, especially the beds!! As a smoker myself I thought it was also perfect that there’s a special place for smokers.
