No lift for luggage. Shared Shower was on the floor below us but there was a shared toilet on our floor. Our room had a sink that was blocked and could not be used. Staff were going to fix it once we left.

Staff helped us to our fourth floor room as the lifts were broken. View out to the city roofline was wonderful.

I had to stay here because my flight was canceled and I needed a cheap hotel stay. Get what you pay for. I think the reviews are way harsher than it actually is. Room was clean, bathrooms down the hall were clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly and kind! I was a little skeptical when I first arrived but the super kind staff made me feel much safer. Especially as a solo female traveller. I’d stay here again honestly for the price

A small room but it's Amsterdam. Although the room was small it was clean The reception staff were excellent. The location is great it is about 10 mins from the Damrack. Not someplace I would usually stay but it was fine

The facilities. I understand it is thrifty. This property toes a fine line between great, affordable deal with understandable drawbacks and the reality of a few extra dollars of comfort. Do something about the nonfunctional TVs, remove them, replace them. Something. Wash the curtains, grease the tracks. Fix the tiles. Adjust the motion sensitivity on the lights in the third floor bathroom. Switch to better mattresses, you can do better with stiff foam than coiled springs.

Location, location, location. Friendly staff that are straight forward and sincere.

i have mixed feelings about it, the room is smaller than it appears on the photos, the floor was covered in dust, we found stuff under the bed, the window also had a problem that the cold could easily enter underneath the window, and we would put towels to not get through. also keep in mind that you have a shared bathroom with the other rooms who are on the same floor, which we didn’t know, the bathroom facilities were kinda poor, we didn’t have simple amenities the first two days of our stay like hand soap, and the bathroom smelled. we were disappointed.

the only good thing about the property was the location, you had an easy access to everything. also the staff was very friendly, and very communicative.

our quad room wasn't made upon arrival (beds unmade, rubbish on beds ect). staff did apologise profusely so i forgive them! it was just a bit annoying :( the rooms were clean *enough*, but the window sills had what appeared to be black mould all over them. the shower roof also had black spots. two people in my group got sick after the first night :( the fans in the shower were clogged with dust. the wifi on the third floor was really bad.

staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful! we had a few issues, in which they accommodated us with a really good breakfast at the restaurant downstairs. view of the street was lovely and the location was really great.

Unfortunately, dutch stairs and somehow booked room on 4th floor is the biggest disadvantage for those who do not aim for Olympics :)

Only one toilet and shower per floor full of rooms. Sinks too small to wash your face without splashing everything onto the floor. Also very steep and narrow stairs up to the 4th floor, quite the workout with luggage.

Decent hotel for Location and price. We got lucky having one of the bigger rooms with a view and large windows but there's a couple of rooms in the basement or right by the kitchen that would have been more unpleasant and louder.
