Closeness to Grand central station. You can walk to your hotel. Closeness to shops and restaurants.

It was outdated and needs new carpet in the rooms and some of the beds need replaced. It seems like it is overpriced but I am not familiar with hotel pricing in Amsterdam or Europe in general.

Staff was very kind and knowledgeable. They made up for the shortcomings of the hotel. Matthias and the lady at the front desk made our stay fabulous and smooth. They allowed us to store our luggage before and after check in/out. The lady (Laura?) had the room ready early upon our arrival. Also, the water pressure in the shower was incredible.

Excellent location. Big room for Amsterdam hotels. Bath as well as a shower was good. Extractor fan could do with being repaired so it works, furniture could do with updating but other than that the room was nice

Excellent location within a short walk from Amsterdam Centraal Station as well as to all other transport and to many sights of Amsterdam. The rooms were comfortable and breakfast very good as were the facilities provided. Friendly and helpful staff.

We had the 4th floor which was very warm - even in the middle of May. The obliging staff however, unpacked a new fan which improved matters considerably.

Location is excellent , just across the canal from Central Station where we arrived, and the Tram hub. Room was fairly basic but spotlessly clean, and the breakfasts were excellent.

While the hotel's high price tag was a drawback, I was disappointed by the outdated facilities, particularly the washroom, which was in need of renovation. On the other hand, the breakfast was exceptional, and the variety of dishes was impressive. However, the service was lacking, with one waiter being particularly unfriendly and condescending.

The location is excellent and very close to central train station and many tourist spots.

Very quirky layout - narrow property with stairs and a lift but steep stairs from hallway door of room. Amsterdam accommodation is very expensive so, although this was the most expensive accommodation in four ountries and probably the least glamorous, it was good value.

There are a lot of stairs. While the structure of the building has an antique allure to it, it proves to be quite a trouble for my parents. Also lifting up the luggages is quite the challenge too

The staff is super friendly and very accommodating, it almost feels like family. The location is also very strategic, we can just walk anywhere basically

Everything was very pleasant. No walk in shower , but shower in bath tub.

Proximity to train station. Many eateries nearby . Very helpful front desk clerk, Carlo. There is an elevator and good breakfast included . It was a nice view over rooftops from our comfortable attic room . I have been here several times over the last two years and I am never disappointed.
