Room was too warm due to sun exposure but also air conditioning was available so not a real problem!

I liked a lot the concept of the hotel! The staff was really nice and available, and everything was super clean. I also appreciated the availability of a small fridge and coffee machine in the room :)

They charge 35,00 per extra bed in the room on top of the price informed in Booking.com. We reserved the hotel for 4 persons and expect to see the price including the beds and not that we need to pay on top of what is shown in the website. If you are coming in a family you need to consider 35,00 per bed cost on top of what u see in the booking total. Thats ridiculous!

There was no airco in the room. As far as I can recall. That was probably the only missing thing.

Lovely hotel. The owner really is into details. and she personally guided us to the room. This is so so nice. The hotel warns beforehand in their description and via a personal message that the hotel is next to a crowed yard and that this causes sound. We love the white-noice of the city and did love it, and I can imagine this is not for everybody. We did take breakfast in the city and not hotel. The rooftop bar was amazing. Not the biggest room and certainly not small. Bed and shower where new, large and very nice. compliments!

Room was quite hot, but was manageable.

I’ve been said that sleeping there may not be a good idea since the neighborhood is quite noisy. Even if pubs and restaurants are really close, the staff did a great work of reducing the noise impact so you can still have a good sleep. I really enjoyed my stay in Groningen, and will certainly choose the Happy Travel again in future.

The location is very central so it’s a little bit noisy during the night, but the structure informed us about that in advance, so there was no surprise for us.

The beds were comfy but strangely narrow, while there was enough space for a larger bed in the room.

Maximalist decor can make the room feel crowded, but this is a matter of personal preference.

Great location. Staff have gone above and beyond to compensate for possible loud noise from the bars downstairs. This includes sound insulation, ear plugs etc, which were not necessary in our opinion, but they were appreciated. We did not experience any problems with noise from the bars, which closed at 1 AM on a Saturday. The location was very vibrant and nice to walk around at night.

Coffee maker (Nespresso?) was pretty bad, but coffee in the lobby was great. Tea selection could have some herbal choice.

Difficult to say cause I'm very satisfied. Maybe the chosen decoration of the interior of my room. At some parts it was a bit weak and too much at the same time compared to the common spaces, but this is absolutely a subjective feeling.

Perfect location in the heart of the city centre. If you're looking for a hotel which combines decent amenities and services with alternative hotel style, then give it a try; I think it's worth it! Both owners and staff were very kind, friendly and with a really nice energy! Liked the music vibes of this place!
