Windows are really not well isolated. Noise from the street, tram, etc. can be heared. Be aware! Some parts of the hotel are used and old. Renovation is ongoing. Rooms were not really cleaned every day; just bed was made but still beach sand on the floor.

Very close to the beach. Restaurant and bar are nice.

The AC was basically non existent, so our room was very hot. I understand that it's still spring and it can get quite chilly at night, so In the end it was manageable because we opened a window, but a proper AC would have made everything better. The room also didn't have a proper trashcan, because the small one located in the bathroom got full really quick, so a bigger one in the room would make things better! At one time, we went down around 1300 to the bar to try and eat and drink something while we worked, but found the restaurant closed and the bar empty... the whole hotel looked like a ghost town! We had to wait quite a while for someone to pick our order. In the end, these things didn't make our stay bad, but it could have made it better!

The hotel might look a little bit old from the outside, but everything is well kept and looks really nice once you're inside. The bar has a lot of variety of drinks and you can plug your computer almost everywhere, so it's very work-friendly. Its close location to the tram and to the pier makes this place really well located. There is even a Pathé cinema at walking distance, several supermarkets and a very big food hall right after the pier that is worth visiting.

There is no door to toilet and there was no information in the description of the hotel. Maybe it is “high design” but I don’t understand it.

All was new, after reconstruction, however missing some details, which cause the hotel less comfortable.

The bathroom sink is very small and there was no shelf to put stuff. And a small fridge would have been nice.

The short distances to the beach & the train. The smart TV was great too!

The balcony was floaded with water. The WiFi also was tripping on regular. The services in the room...like no mini fridge or bar, coffee equipments were very limited,no phone to call the reception in case of emergency. Think for a 4start hotel, these should be basics.

No working tv (ci module problem) in multiple rooms. Pool was closed. At toilet no water to wash hands. In normal room small bathroom, limited space.

Nice clean rooms. Good friendly support! In the upgraded room there was a separate toilet, not at bathroom. Good breakfast. In normal room, good shower.

Swimming pool unavailable, no gym, food choices below average. No room service as I was told. Staff seemed well mannered but uninterested.

The location is nice, my room had a balcony which was great. Lights were sufficient and accessible and hygiene was decent.

Came late in the evening, nothing to eat and the bar closed already at 9.40 because of shortage of personel. So I had to go to the opposite hotel to get something to nibble and drink. At breakfast there was no towel To cut the bread so everyone was touching the bread. Sausage and egg was finished and it took ages b4 that was filled up. Breakfast was tasty but poor managed.

There were a couple of things extremely disappointing: the worst one, the night doorman: the hotel is closed when I came back from dinner. I gathered some 5 other hotel guests who were there. We were ringing the bell for 25 min until the night doormen showed up. It was cold and we did not expect this. Very bad. Apart, the room has blind-out curtains in the big window... but not in the small one! It was end of May, so the sun was shining strongly in the room at 5 a.m. Guys, please.... put a curtain in the smaller window! otherwise, we need a sleep-mask! The last awkward thing, was a minor problem: when I got the key of my room, I opened the door and... there was a man inside! After two minutes discussion whose room was it, I came back to the reception. They reacted well and gave me another room (upgraded, btw, thank you). But... next time I don^t want to see a naked man when opening a door. This has probably been a misunderstanding of the cleaning personnal.

very good location, it's foot distance to the beach and to the Kurhaus. Very friendly staff, very attentive. Comfy beds, a clean bathroom.

There have been a few issues which drag my assessment low: - On the first day I reported to the reception that the TV didn't receive any signals - couldn't use it. They promised it would be fixed the next day. Next day in the evening it still didn't work - they told me that the technician was not in that day and that it would be fixed the day after. The day after - guess - it was not fixed - I gave up. I was ignored. - The room (318) was a single one but in a corner - and it was a very small one - way too small, trapezoid shape having just one stool without backrest. I don't think it had 15sqm. Such room definitely should be priced less with the caveats mentioned - than all would be good. - The wardrobe was very small with possibility just to hang a coat or so, with no shelfs to keep your cloths on - I left them in my suitcase. - The room in general was clean but it was not cleaned for weeks under the bed - say that if everything else was good I wouldn't mentioned that. - There was no sports facilities which I expect in a hotel of this class. In general I expect more from a hotel which considers itself as a 4 stars one.

The room was dirty: windows dirty on the inside, the garbage bin was full from previous guests - quite disgusting. Staff at the reception and breakfast were rude. Breakfast area is very small and overcrowded.

Doesn't seem like there is any soundproofing. I could hear everything the neighbours did and said which wasn't pleasant as they woke me several times.
