The location is absolutely perfect, close to the Dome Cathedral. The room is quite small, but very clean. In the public area there is a kitchen, where you can find everything you need for breakfast. There is also a fridge, where you can keep your food. The family who keeps this hostel is very friendly. They were always ready to answer our questions and help us.

If you happen to stay when some people also bring kids, it’s a little uncomfortable since the floor is from woods and when they were running around, you can guess :)

It was just perfect since we participated in Riga marathon and the place just next to the venue. A little busy during night time but for one night, it was great!

The warm home coming feeling with the nice reception area and the big bedroom. I had just come from Stockholm and slept in a 12 bunk room for the same price of this lovely stow-away in the heart of completely quiet old centre. I know it's sad because of inflation, but there is something kind of cool and old skool in being in a quiet old center.

The only one thing you REALLY need to fix is that missing screw for the showerhead in the bathroom. The whole place is so nice, so it's a pity to have it be interupted with the crazy shower head flying around and hit you on the feet 😂

It was a bit cold, but they gave us a small heater. We had to prepare our beds and and sheets when we arrived.

Excellent value for money ,the all day breakfast /tea and coffee was a hugh bonus . Reception staff were so prompt with any queries and the location couldn't have been better . Overall highly recommended .

There is a popular pizza restaurant next door and music and people could be heard until late at night, but with the window shut it would be quieter. It was actually atmospheric!

I stayed in a private double room on the third floor. It was bright and functional with enough storage for a short stay. I loved the kitchen and breakfast items that were provided. I enjoyed cooking an omelette and drinking fresh coffee each morning! It was a nice area to chat with other guests. The location is close to the river and in the midst of the old town and its squares.

It was perfect for me as a solo traveller. Very crean, tidy, great location, friendly staff, equipped kitched, access to breakfast 24/7. It was quiet in the hostel, but considering it's in the center sometimes you would hear noise from outside in the evening, but it rather was a part of atmosphere of the city. I can say I loved everything about this place.

The rooms are not very well isolated from each other, thus you can hear, for example, somebody in the neighbouring room talking on the phone. As it was very hot during the day and night of our stay and the street full of people, the night was not too calm (but it was surely worse than usual, there was a celebration in the city) and hot (but I'm not a great friend of air conditioning so I will not criticize its absence in this rather northern location). The toilets and bathrooms in the corridor were a bit of a bottleneck. One of our rooms, with a double bed, was also very small. No problem for a single night, but there is little space to put things and none for a table with chairs or like-wise.

The staff was very friendly, spoke English well. The possibility to have different types of breakfast-type food (availability of a kitchen with toast bread, eggs, cereals, milk, butter,...) any time and included in the price was very nice. Also we could leave our luggage at the reception for several hours after check-out.

The Reception was not staffed most of the time. The Check-In Process was complicated.

Central location in the old part of Riga. Great accommodations to prepare breakfast. There was a possibility to use a washing machine free of charge. The owner tried his best to solve any problems.

Actually, the room was small, no clothes rack, no aircondition.

Simple hostel but it suitable for bachelors and small families.The girl in reception was very nice and enjoining with her high level English accent. The assistant who cleans the rooms was very loyal in his work and has nice smiling face.
