After coming through a small alley and the reception looking pretty shabby, the room was surprisingly big and clean. It was a short walk to the fortress. Breakfast was interesting, no staff, but you could make yourself eggs, toast, cereal and cup noodles.

I would like to thank the receptionist and her husband for all the help they gave me, over and above the call of duty. The room and bathroom were large, very comfortable with all amenities.

Friendly staff and solved my issue during the stay. The room was spacious and the bed is comfortable. The breakfast was ok (eggs, cup noodle, milk, coffee, juice, cereals).

The room was quite cold as we settled in but we advised the receptionist who said she would change the room temp which I think was done via a system that she had access to. The room warmed up a little bit. Bed also came with electric blanket but we didn't need to use it at night.

The location and the price was what attracted us as it was 10min walking distance to the bus terminal. Not far from the big Emart which was handy. Bed was comfortable especially after our big hike to Jirisan National Park and appreciated the big space that the room had to offer. Even though it was stated that check in was at 18.00 we were allowed to check in from 16.00 - receptionist was nice and friendly.

The towels had stains, the pillows were not comfortable. The price was too high. The luggage stored is in the lobby, anybody has access. Not a safe place for valuables.

The hotel standard room was large compared to other hotels. Almost everything was clean and neat. Two kinds of pillows. You can take a bus to the festival and fortress. Luggage can be stored there.

Nice do-it-yourself breakfast, but it would be great with more ventilation in the room breakfast room itself.

Staff was extremelly helpful! The lady at the front desk had patience with my intermediate korean. Room was very big, charming, unique and comfortable. Great service and value!

I really liked the kindness of staff, I had a problem with my car and they were very helpful. The room was big and the bed was very comfortable. The room was warm. The bathroom is in the room despite the annouce says it is not. Of course, it is a Carlton Hotel, it would be strange the room has not private bathroom. The place is close to numerous place to visit I had in my plan and close to the hotel there are many restaurants. It is perfect if you travel by car.

The mattress and bed were very uncomfortable. No housekeeping was done on the 2nd day, but a staff member just barged into our room at 5pm without ringing or knocking, although it was obvious we were in the room (red light on the door).

We liked the size and cleanliness of the room. There are many shops and restaurants around the hotel and the lantern festival was within walking distance

There were no breakfast. Lobby is not that attractive in comparison with room. Staff in check in is good but we could see inside room that some one was lying in the corner of room, looks un professional. in general everything is good enough.

Room is not soundproof in terms of neighbouring bathrooms drainage. Overt advertisement of adult services in the room; it would be wise to inform potential customers about this to avoid discomfort (especially thinking of solo female travelers and families).

It’s basically a ‘love hotel’ hahaha so you can expect some sounds coming from other rooms.

The room was bigger than I expected, very clean and the bathroom/shower areas were very clean and comfortable. My friend mentioned how comfortable the bed was too. The free breakfast also exceeded our expectations and was enough to keep us full half of the day!

Staff does not speak a word in English and had troubles with the check-in (couldn't take an international card). Facilities does not work (hot tub) and other, unnecessary items just interfere (a projector that does noise all night long). Feels like a shady love motel.

Relatively close to the fortress (15 minutes walk). Ok breakfast (eggs for self-service, bread).
