Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Good location, room is spacious with good view. Staff are friendly and always helpful. Baggages are in good care right from getting off from the coach.

United StatesThe check in mentioned 5 times that one room has lounge and the other room had “no lounge included for you”. Way too much emphasis on this - were they expecting us to steal lounge time? Not sure what that was. We had booked lounge for the adults and not the teenagers who don’t care about lounges… As it happened the lounge is usually almost empty of guests and overstaffed.
Beautiful decor

United StatesThere was nothing to dislike during our stay.
There is nothing to dislike about the Lotte Hotel Seoul Executive Tower. It is a first class facility, with the kind of excellent service that you'd expect from a hotel of this level. The location is very good, close to many attractions and important locations in the center of Seoul. Worthy of a special note is the fabulous breakfast buffet served at the Sienna.

SingaporeWhat I found lacking was that the room didn’t come with an iron and ironing board like most rooms would have. Instead, we were asked to use their pricey laundry pressing service, which was a bit of a letdown. Also, if you’re thinking about getting room service, think twice as a plate of pasta costs S$35++ - which is not value, and you’ll probably get a better value and tastier pasta outside the hotel. We also didn’t get the buffet breakfast as it was 60,000won (~S$60) per pax, which was quite costly. We were told that we had to walk over to the main tower for the buffet breakfast, which I thought was weird because the executive tower should have its own buffet breakfast. They also said that there’s a lounge in the executive tower that serves breakfast but costs 48,500won (~S$48.50) per pax. Not sure if they all serve the same thing but we ended up getting breakfast at cafes elsewhere which turned out to be a great option as we got to eat and explore at the same time.
Booked two rooms Lotte Hotel Seoul - Executive Tower for my family and I (party of 4) and it was fantastic, largely thanks to its unbeatable location and upscale amenities. Nestled in a prime spot, the hotel offers easy access to the subway, making exploring the city a breeze. Access to the subway is available via the hotel through an underpass and also a short 1-min from the hotel’s main entrance, which is incredibly convenient. It’s also a short stroll away from the bustling Myeongdong Street, which turns into a night market from 4pm onwards - great for shopping and street food/snacks. Upon check-in on Level 15 of the executive tower, we were greeted with a stunning view, swanky furnishing and great customer service from the hotel staff. They spoke fluent English and were very helpful with the many pieces of baggage that came with us. The check-in staff mentioned that we could pay a bit extra for a room view of the Namsan Tower; while tempting, we ended up sticking to our original room choice as that was our preference. The room itself was spacious, complete with a cosy sofa – ideal for unwinding after a long day out shopping with a cuppa; my mum and I enjoyed chilling on the couch after the day out. Just a heads up, though: remember to pack your toothbrush and toothpaste, as the hotel doesn't provide them. But don't fret; you can either grab them from the minibar (they’ll charge you when you check out) or the nearby convenience stores. Overall, I think the hotel is a solid choice for those seeking a luxurious stay in a prime location. Sure, it might come with a hefty price tag, but the experience is well worth it - especially if it’s your first time in Seoul. My family, particularly my parents, enjoyed the stay!

the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The location was perfect, walking distance to Myeongdong streets. There were many restaurants and convenient stalls within a 5 mins walk. Lotte shopping mall was directly below with the metro station as well. Convenient and fuss-free, especially good for travellers like me with young children.

AustraliaToothbrushes and toothpaste was not provided, but rather available to purchase as part of their environmental impact program. However, all other amenities were still provided and topped up everyday. For the price paid, perhaps they should have toothbrushes and toothpaste available for guests only if they request for it rather than charge extra for it.
Excellent location. Close to station, shops, restaurants and markets. Staff were all very polite and helpful. Rooms were nice and clean.
