Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We love Sotetsu Dongdaemun. I’ve stayed in two other hotels in the area and this one’s my favorite. The staff is very nice & efficient, there’s an elevator right outside the hotel that leads to the metro (the walk inside the metro to get to the trains is still a bit of a walk though); and it’s close to Dongdaemun Design Plaza.

It was our 2nd stay in this hotel. I can still just recommend it. Check-in / check-out was very smooth, the room was tidy and clean (there was cleaning every day). You can find many 0-24h mini markets near the hotel and several metro lines meet there (2,4,5 -Myengdong is just 2 stops from DDP with line 4). The airport limusine bus stops front of the hotel's entrance (the travel time is approx. 2 hours). Laundry machines are a huge benefit! I totally satisfied with this accomodation and I can just recommend it.

I like the followings: 1) Convenience - One of the subway exit is just infront of the hotel. And there is a lift to the subway station 2) Convenience store - there are 2 convenience stores near the hotel. less than1 minute's walk. starbuck also nearby. 3) Eatery & shopping - Numerous eateries and some shopping near the hotel. 5-10min walk. 4) Room 1402-Standing shower with enclosure. Water doesn't leak out unlike in some hotel. Strong shower. 5) Room 1402-Nice view. 6) Airport Bus Limousine-the bus stop is just outside the hotel. 7) there is a jimjibang nearby-Sparex 8) Isaac Toast-Nice korean toast. nearby.

United StatesNothing!!! The hotel is beautiful and very tall. At night, it is all lit up and very easy for me to navigate my way back :-)
The hotel is at the most perfect location right in front of the elevator for the metro. It is also right next to the DDP and Dongdaemun Shopping town. Across from the hotel are streets filled with wonderful restaurants where the locals go to eat and therefore they are all very reasonable priced. I loved to walk around the neighborhood because there are so many shopping places and wonderful street foods. And OMG, the room is so nice, big and very clean. It has the best and the most comfortable bed and pillows. I did have my best sleep there. I miss that bed so much :-(

Location was good, near subway & there’s access to ground floor. The airport limousine stops just outside the hotel, so it’s convenient to get to the airport. But what stands this hotel apart is the excellent customer service. We had problems with online airport check-in. Mr Donghyun Kim at the front desk was most patient to listen to our concerns and kind to call Asiana Airlines on our behalf to clarify the situation. Getting the assurance gave us peace of mind to enjoy our last day of the trip.

The hotel is very near to the subway station. There is an elevator to the subway station which is right in front of the hotel. The airport bus stop is also in front of the hotel. Lots of shopping centre in that area. The toilet is spacious too.

CanadaThe breakfast selection is not great. It looks like there are many choices but I'd rather go for quality than quantity, considering what they were charging for breakfast to be included with the room price.
Room was very clean, love the touch about replacing the slippers every day to get new ones. Location was amazing as the subway stop is literally in front of the hotel, and there's a convenience store around the corner.

SingaporeI find nothing that I dislike, except the fact that we need to pay for late check-out and early check-in. However, that is the hotel's policy, so not much of a problem except that it is something I have never encounter in other countries. Other than that, all are great in this hotel!
the location is a huge plus! it is near the ddp and dongdaemun area. Lots of cafes to explore nearby and right outside exit4 which is amazing! there are 3 lines at the station which allows you to go anywhere with convenience. the hotel is spacious for 3 and the view is amazing! the toilet is big and spacious and the front desk is really helpful!
