Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwitzerlandWeird place as the ocean view is blocked by an other hotel built 2 meters in front of the Grandmillions, with the exact same size. Buses network is closer to a maze than a net (work)

Malaysia1. Limited parking at the basement car park then if full parking you have to drive a little far from the designated hotel parking lot 2. The pillows are too soft 3. No coffee or tea sachets provided 4. No water dispenser and oven provided for guest use.
1. Staff are friendly 2. The location was quiet because it is a little far from town 3. Deco at the lobby is nice 4. Rooftop

IrelandI didn't feel like there was anywhere to sit and chill out, there was no restaurant for breakfast or dinner, there was a convenience store but it opened late. There was a rooftop area but there were no lights so once it got dark you had to leave, you really need a car/scooter when staying here as it's not really close to anything.
The rooms were clean, it was near a bus stop.

It was really easy to get to this hotel by taxi, 10 mins from Seogwipo. The reception staff kept my carry-on for one night before I checked in as I went to another area with just a small bag. I had a great view of Hallasan and the TV had Netflix and it was super easy to login with my phone. There was a convenience store on the 1st floor (ground floor) which was open until midnight. There were also many coffee machines in the lobby.

South KoreaLocation: Unlike booking.com says, this hotel is not in the city center, but rather on the edge of town. There is very little to see or eat within walking distance of the place. It's a bit far from the things that make Seogwipo interesting.
Very new hotel, small but immaculate room, nice bathroom, comfortable bed, big TV, helpful staff, incredible value.

South KoreaWhile our room was clean overall, we found a bottle with cigarettes one of the prior guests had left in the room hidden behind the TV. We notified the reception and they apologised, but while of course not necessary, we would've expected the employees to at least offer some kind of compensation.
The lobby is incredibly beautiful and a great place to spend some time and take memorable pictures. The hotel also has a nice rooftop terrace with a view of the sea at daytime and a part of the city during the night.

South KoreaThe rooms were small. Also the hotel name must have recently changed so you may need to use its old name in some GPS devices. Also if you're visiting with friends, it's a little awkward cuz there's a huge window showing into the bathroom but there is a curtain.
The staff were very nice and accommodating. The bathrooms and rooms were also very clean.

PhilippinesNo tea or coffee in the room, but at the lobby, there is a self-service Starbucks machine!
Hotel is obviously newly renovated. Room is quite modern as well as the bathroom and the door. Pillows are very soft. Clean room. Staff are nice, especially the two ladies at the reception.Got a room on the highest floor. Thanks for that. Location is not at the center, it is about 15 to 20 minute-walk away. At first, you might have a feeling of being in an isolated place, but if you prefer a quiet area, this hotel is awesome. There are 3 bus stops near the hotel. If you are traveling around Seogwipo using public transport, go to world cup stadium bus stop or Seogwipo bus terminal, from there, you can take the bus going to to the famous sites, just check the website for the schedule. Don't forget to go to the rooftop!
