Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Cleaning staff entered my room without knocking at one point. Not sure how this can happen but obviously this is not the sort of thing I would expect from a professional hotel.
Good location, close to the metro station. Helpful and friendly staff.

The Wi-Fi in our room was unreliable, with no connection at all on the first day and very weak afterward. Additionally, our first-floor room received minimal sunlight. From what I observed, this might not be an issue in rooms on the second floor. If natural lighting is important to you, consider this when choosing your room.
It would have been great if breakfast had more variety, but the options available were delicious. Regarding the location, the hotel is situated on a tranquil and quiet street, with the metro conveniently nearby, allowing us to move around easily.

Small room, unpleasant odour in our room until windows open, difficult to access the room and manage luggage, no sound-proofing.

The room is really small, yet having the terrace gave us extra space for having a nice time with Prosecco planning our daily itineraries. The minibar fridge did not work, but again the staff offered to cool our drinks in their fridge.
The hotel is well maintained and the staff is great. All were helpfull and kind, still I would like to highlight Roxana. Not only she was absolutely professional, yet also very nice and friendly. Location is fine, you can reach many places by foot, metro station Manzoni is just around the corner and if you are tired after walking the whole day, you can jump on the train and be home quickly. There are grocery stores nearby.

Location is a bit farther to the city center but there is a metro station nearby it.
Hotel staff were very helpful and kind. We did not have any problems during our stay.

Not fruit in the breakfast and there is not ventilation in the room. The street is quiet but if the hotel is full, you will hear people in the breakfast. The breakfast room door should be closed...
Geographic situation and the staff was very kind. This hotel is very clean.

Room was cramped and tiny. Hair drier stoped working one evening, and even we ask for another nobody came to replace it. Although they change towels every day, there were some stains on it.
Location of the hotel is great, small quite street, 15 min by foot from Colosseum. Receptionist Roxanne was so helpful and kind. Breakfast was ok, simple. Clean towels every day.

First, have to mention the staff: they are all great, thanks a lot for our conversations and your very good recommendations in general. The hotel is really nice, quiet and comfy. Enjoyed my stay here, also convenient to walk around or take public transports.

The bathrooms were small, the shower had a leak that got a lot of water on the floor and the toilet seat was broken.

The shower door was a bit strange, and didn't close properly, so after taking a shower the bathroom would be flooded a little. Also, the air conditioning behaved a bit strangely.
First of all, amazing staff, super friendly and helpful. The hotel is very nicely decorated, in a mix of modern with classical style. The location is not super far from the Coliseum, and very close to a Metro stop. Restaurants are also within walking distance. And it's on a very quiet street, so there is no noise coming from outside. The room was very nice, with a little terrace, and the breakfast was good as well, served in a nice spot.

AC in the room wasn't massively effective, can imagine it wouldve been unbearable in 30 degree heat and humidity Location is quite far from anything other than the Colleseum and Forum but if you aren't afraid of a good walk then it's absolutely fine.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel decor was great, very well finished. Room was good value for money, comfy bed, great bathroom. Breakfast was a really good selection on a nice terrace.

It was quite small and the air con seemed to turn itself off.
