Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of Americaeverything was absolutely perfect! Seriously.
Relais Regina was a super surprise and delight to all of our party of 4. The setting was absolutely beautiful. After touring a tremendous part of Italy by train this was our final destination for rest and relaxation. The staff here, especially Theodore, Vittoria, and the gentlemen that drove us around on our golf carts went so far out of their way to make us comfortable and happy. The owner of this property must be incredibly proud of the service their employees give and how hard they work to satisfy each and every guest. This was an exceptional property with outstanding views of the sea and green landscape. We highly recommend Relais Regina Giovanna and look forward to a return visit.

IndiaThe property has the most beautiful lemon orchard and private beach. It is a little far from Sorrento City but they offer city shuttles to and from the property. We faced a problem trying to get in touch with them but once we reached the property, we had a very relaxing stay. The staff was very kind and they also gave a bag full of their homegrown lemons!

United KingdomLovely little resort away from the noise of the city centre which made for a unique stay! The private beach is lovely and restaurant staff were really helpful as i arrived with a cold and they made many pots of tea for me and also gave us free olive oil bottles that they had produced on sight as we checked out!

Drank water from coffee cups. Need lighting from restaurant to building. Walkway to apt was totally pitch dark.

AzerbaijanThe only issue it’s a bit far from city center, they have free shuttle which take you to the city center and bring back. But take into account that shuttle has fixed schedules and you need book it in advance. It’s just 10mins ride, if shuttle time doesn’t work for you, you can call taxi which will be 30€ to city center. The other issue is the hotel area is quite big, if you stay in villa(or if you want to go to the beach) you will need to walk a little bit or you can call receptionist and they will send you golf car. Most importantly if you are afraid of lizards(small ones) then this hotel is not for you. Because you can see them pretty much everywhere, they are harmless. It was ok for me.
Beach was amazing, private and quite. There is a beach restaurant, which is very convenient if you want to spend your daytime at beach. And also there were kayaks, so if you get bored you will find something to do.

United States of AmericaWe wished that something could have been done about the bees in the outdoor dining area. One day we decided to eat in our room because the bees were always at our table. We couldn't enjoy our food.😖 We learned from another resort that burnt coffee on the table actually helps keep the bees away. Perhaps try that. Another thing that was upsetting a pair of rose gold crystal hoop earrings were taken out of the bedroom I stayed in during our stay. It wasn't the cost that bothered me. My daughter bought those earrings for me for my birthday. 😞 I didn't mention it because I was hoping I would find them when I returned to the USA in my suitcase. However, I did not find them. I would advise to keep your jewelry on you at all times.
The food was excellent! The grounds were beautiful with an amazing private beach cove! Vittoria and Irene were especially sweet and very helpful!🥰😍

Ireland€30 taxi ride if you don't time the shuttle.
Lovely quiet location in a coastal setting with olive and lemon 🍋 groves. Has a beach setting with a beach bar/restaurant. Lovely path network leading to various little spots around the property. The hotel offers a free shuttle service at various times during the day and evening. Restaurant and bar available. Golf buggy service around the grounds if requested.

TurkeyA bit far from the city, you need to catch the shuttle (not very often and only for 8 people) or take a taxi who does not want to enter to the properyty (with no reason!) and leave you above the front door which means you need to walk under the sun / rain app 300 mt.
I like pretty much everything; very helpful staff, beautiful gardens and of course the beach and the food.

United KingdomNot a big deal but be prepared for steps to the beach, it can't be helped but wear appropriate shoes etc! The restaurant is quite expensive for what it is, delicious food but limited menu.
Wonderful hotel and surrounding land and beach! The room was clean, spacious and comfortable! The staff were friendly and so helpful! The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and the private beach was a great addition rather than renting a bed in sorrento! The private shuttle is also amazing for getting to and from the centre - it was €30 for a taxi from the train station to the hotel so worth it!

Italya view from my room and a terasse
the room is very comfortable but there is no view, no terasse. The breakfast is very good. The staff is very warm and welcoming. We enjoyed walking in the huge property land (olive trees). We did really enjoy to go to the private beach, really a luxury in this region where you have to pay for everything and where swimming is not so easy (always private beaches).

United States of AmericaNot much not to like. Staff was great.
Awesome facility, great breakfast but order eggs immediately they take a long time. No real view from the room but the property is naturally beautiful. Dinner was exceptional with a lot of the food sourcing directly from the property. The private beach is great but it's a rocky surface so bring shoes.

United KingdomNothing . However greater shuttle bus frequency would be beneficial plus more details regards local public transport such as bus times and stops ,particularly as main road to hotel is challenging to walk on due to no footpath. The bus runs frequently and drops off relatively close to the hotel with only a small piece of busy road to walk on.
Staff friendliness and attentiveness-relaxed atmosphere Beach facilities Breakfast and restaurant food quality. Products were plentiful ,fresh and tasty. Field to fork principles were a hit. Vegetables were delicious. Beautiful location and gardens. Cleanliness and daily room cleaning Roof terrace for super sunset drinks.

FinlandWe noticed that the estate was still being prepared for the summer season so there were some garden tools here and there and the beach was not open officially.
We liked about the athmosphere, nice farm/garden area and food. It was great how you could almost touch the lemon trees from the balcony.
