It was only me and my son but we had like 6 beds in our room. There was not even enough space for our suitcases.

I like the location especially there is a bar and camping site in the whole complex. I met some locals in the pub/bar which was nice. Very friendly staff. The kitchen is well equipped, several showers and toilets.

The only thing I didn’t like about Hostal is the breakfast buffet, I was really looking forward to breakfast buffet, a hot buffet was expected but it was just cold cuts and bread , kind of disappointing that is the only negative.

Was alright with the music playing from the bar but for those who cannot fall asleep easily please take note that the music runs till about 12 midnight on a friday night.

We had the entire room to ourselves (a group of 5) so it was spacious! The place was very neat and tidy. There were many toilet and shower cubicles and they were spacious and clean as well. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. There was space for cooking, unwinding over a drink or snack, chatting and playing card games. It gave off a homely feeling. Petrol stations and grocery store nearby!

The rooms were very dark; I think they could be made cheerier with a little effort.

The hostel is in an excellent location. We booked it an hour before arriving because our plan to reach Seyðisfjörður didn't work out. The hosts were very friendly, and our mood, which wasn't the best, was lifted by a lovely evening performance at the café located in the same place.

Very limited 3-4 item food menu (veg only). They have bed capacity for more people than the facilities can handle comfortably. I discovered this when a large group of students checked in later that day, after I arrived. They commandeered the lounge, kitchen and showers so essentially, I became an uninvited 'guest' in their midst. Just had to plan meals, showers and hanging out around their schedule.Also, showers are individual unisex with doors, but in a communal room. No privacy at the basins and mirrors.

Bedding and mattresses were VERY comfortable! Great night's sleep. Funky, kitschy, retro look and feel to the place. There are also 4 private lavatories which is preferable to a communal arrangement. The bar had decent prices on tap beer and wine during happy hours. Staff were great too. Relatively close to grocery stores, town and airport.

Very large rooms. Easy check-in. Even if there was a pub next door, it didn't bother us. Parking directly in front of the room. The kitchen has a lot of dishes to use. We saw the aurora for the first time just in front of hostel!

We book a room for two and we had 2 bunk beds extra in the room that we didn't use . And maybe the room full of people it will be small to fit 6 people with luggage

The bar and facilities are awesome. The politics super clean and big. The lounge was amazing with a great vibe. The room was clean and the staff great also. I will be back

A little bit noisy at night but nothing too bad.

The common area, the kitchen and the comfortable bed and linens were amazing. As well as the affordable price during low season (we were the only ones in the hostel). The hostel was clean, functional and the staff friendly.

mmm...lockers for smaller bags and maybe a small shelf on the beds to put your phone while it is charging would be nice. and some ventilation although I don't think that's really an everyday problem. just details that don't really affect much.

amazing hostel. Excellent food and beer at the restaurant. Bathrooms separated from sinks and showers which is more hygienic. Great vibes. Great location. Gets the job done. Kitchen clean. I will totally stay again next time.

This hostel is super cute with lots of decorations outside which make it looks like very cozy. Inside you have a super nice common area (separated from the bar, so it is not noisy at all) with a very good taste furniture (I loved the old sewing machine!). We were in a triple room and beds were comfortable and well sound isolated. Kitchen was a bit small for all guests, but we managed. Showers and bathroom were clean.

A little more attention to under the beds for cleaning. I loved the bar/restaurant area however it closes early during the offseason.

The room, kitchen, and main rooms were exceptionally clean and laid out. Everything was very accessible.
