How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Food was phenomenal, atmosphere was beautiful, and the hotel was super kid friendly. Really start to finish was a beautiful experience. If you’re looking for a hotel that your kids, and you, will enjoy in Eilat- this is it.

I highly recommend the Leonardo Club Eilat. The combination of exceptional service, beautiful accommodations, and the best food make it a truly outstanding destination. I can't wait to visit again and experience another memorable stay!

The people in the bar. I think they don’t know what they doing.

The manager welcomed us warmly and prepared kind gifts for our family. That is a surprise! Food is delicious and staying is comfortable. We do not need to go out of the hotel since it has all. Besides, the show in the lobby attracted my son a lot.

Liked Everything! Great place, everyone was very kind from check in to check out. all was clean, good food..definitely will come back! They added for us some extras For free for our good feeling. We had lots of fun, the kids are happy. Great hotel for kids and couples.

Except for weather (cannot be controlled by hotel), everything was perfect.
Kid facilities are perfect due to everything all-inclusive. We all were touched from the welcome amenities with lovely wine. Even staff and manager at hotel reception are kind and friendly with warmest heart, which makes guests feeling at home. Missing this memory, I would certainly come back to this hotel. Thank you!

there needs to be more people cleaning the outside and cleaning the night club there was ice cream all on the floor and candy on the floor for two days and so many cups and trash at the pool and night club tables. Also the staff need to enforce the non smoking rule at the pool for the areas that are non smoking
the gluten free options the sou chief was amazing the food out of this world

The kids water park in the toddler pool wasn't working for the three days we were there. We came all the way from Jerusalem specifically for the kids water park and we were very disappointed that it wasn't working. They would not provide us with coffee on Saturday (only instant). The kids playroom isn't at all like the pictures. Very misleading. Instead of a big bed, we had two beds pushed together so it would split in the middle and our daughter fell through multiple times. The kids bar wasn't open. Also, we asked multiple staff members if there were busses running on Saturday and they all said no. So we took a taxi. When in actual fact, there were busses running as usual. Staff should know something like this.
The food was amazing and plentiful. The pool was clean and comfortable.

Stay far far away from this hotel! We booked the trip months in advance for us and our kids. 24 hours before we drove down we get an email telling us they were overbooked and we can either have our money back or put us a lower-class hotel, Then they told us it's because of unexpected construction in the hotel, Then they told us they just didn't get enough rooms booked for this week so they closed the entire hotel for the week. Never had such horrible experiences and zero real apologies!

Room service and cleaning needs improvement. We didn't ask two beds, but they just left open the sofa as a bed.
Food is excellent, specially at Friday night dinner. Drinks are unlimited.
