Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaNot major things, just suggestions to make it even better. Would have been good if our room had a small fridge to keep drinks cool. And being in the middle of nowhere, it would be good if they had some snacks to buy, so during the day you could grab a bag of crisps or something like that. Next time we go, we'll stock up on snacks before we get there. These are not things we didn't like just suggestions to be helpful.
What a wonderful first few days in Bali at the Taman Puri Sari. Beautiful spot to rest and relax, very quiet, isolated, away from the noise and bustle of other spots in Bali. We had one of the suites down the river, to sit on our patio looking out over a tropical paradise was a joy followed by a cool swim in the pool. Lovely massage in the glass house, a walk in the paddy fields, good food, it was a lovely place to spend a few days. Staff are very friendly. If you want somewhere to relax, then this is the place to go. They do activities but we just spent our days reading, swimming and taking it easy. We will be back.

United KingdomOnly criticism is that the bathroom could do with updating.
Puri Taman Sari is set in beautiful gardens and is very welcoming. We particularly enjoyed our cookery experience and learning more about Balinese foods

Czech RepublicAbsolutely amazing place that leaves an impression on you right away. I was here in early February (off the tourist season) and I must say that this place is perfect for calming down, ideal for practicing yoga, and generally just for relaxation. It's 100% something different than Canggu, Ubud, and other tourist centers (although I like those too :D:D:D). I think if someone wants to experience what Bali was like before (based on what locals say :D:D:D) - I definitely recommend going here. After all, I even rode a bike here, which is becoming increasingly rare in Bali! :D:D:D

United States of AmericaFood choices are limited and the rooms have a bit of an old “seen better days” feeling.
The location is fantastic for nature lovers. Set in a beautiful rice growing area with wonderful scenery. The hotel has a lovely cultural feeling like a temple.

Hong KongJust a few small things I wish they'd work on: - Wish they had a mini fridge in the rooms, considering the location is fairly remote. - The toilet seats need replacing. They look awful. Toilet seats are very cheap to buy in Bali. - The lower pool water was quite green, compared to the upper one. I didn't want to take the risk.
The peaceful location, beautiful grounds, facilities, available activities, comfy large quiet rooms.

AustraliaThere wasn't much that I didn't like. The menu at the restaurant is limited but good, it's the only place close by to eat unless you go into town, which is an okay walk if you take an umbrella on a hot day, or walk when it's overcast. Be careful along the main road, but otherwise it's a lovely walk along the rice fields up until the main road. Theres no grab in the area yet so keep that in mind, yet Donny the manager, helped me to the local Clandys when I needed to get a charger port.
Everything was really great. The staff were attentive, kind and helpful. The layout of the hotel is wonderful. The surroundings are picturesque and peaceful. It was quiet, private and absolutely beautiful. Waking up to the rice fields and the rich history was a delightful start to the day. The room we had was amazing, with an outdoor bathroom and an indoor toilet, a large room with an amazing intricate wooden roof. Tile floors and a day bed, with an outdoor area, there was definitely a comfortable amount of space for my children and I.

HungaryWe loved the whole atmosphere of the hotel, it is in the middle of the rice fields. The balinese architecture was amazing, it's like you were in a temple. We loved our bungalow and the open air bathroom. The pool, the massage, the kitchen, and the staff, everything were fantastic. We will be back for sure.

AustraliaThis is not a complaint as we enjoyed our deliberate stay away from the hustle, just be aware that this is not a place to come for nightlife, shopping or bars. There is one restaurant on site with a small selection of meals. For variety you could also head to the restaurant at the other nearby hotel, or you will need transport.
We enjoyed the experience of being in a traditional Balinese village and the resort was very quiet. A special thanks to Donny and Ayu for their hospitality. We arranged a massage at the resort which was lovely and you can walk around the surrounding village and rice fields easily. Given the facilities the resort is very well priced. We had the large pool in the picture to ourselves most days.

United KingdomSo peaceful and quiet in the middle of the rice fields. Staff were very friendly. We were upgraded to a suite as my elderly husband didn:t want an outside toilet. This was very kind and made our holiday. The suites overlooking the river and swimming pool, a small walk from the main building, were so comfortable and peaceful. Our waitress, Ayu was charming and so helpful. It is a lovely place to stay in the middle of a local village for peace and quiet after the noise and bustle of Ubud.
