    The breakfast isn't great.

There are 2 pools, the main pool is magical, the little pool is also nice. There are many different styles of rooms, we always choose the large older ones with balcony. The grounds are spectacular with lots of old stone carvings, it feels like a wonderworld. Note that for the price, which is very reasonable, the benefits are amazing, but obviously it's not luxur

There were two things which I don't like. The first one is a hole on my linen and the second is small ants. I'm afraid now they travel with me.

First, I'd like to notice that I arrived very late at night. And the host waited for me. Then, I like the pool. Also the breakfasts were very simple but nice. Thanks a lot

The first impression was not the best- staff looked stressed and the lady on the reception wasn’t welcoming at all. Even tho there is a daily room cleaning, I found the cockroach at mine room. No warm water available (at least not in my room) The only toiletries you got is a piece of soap. The bathroom (specially basin very dirty) Towels are provided, but with staines on them, same as a bed linen.

The buildings are traditional and it’s nice to stay there- location is great. Monkeys are coming every day so there is a vibe. Nice pool, many options for breakfast which was tasty and the lady who was serving the breakfast was really nice. Good pool size. There is also a daily room cleaning.

Security on the Balinese doors wasn't the best. So if you travel with a lot of valuables, it may not be the most secure choice. If you are not concerned with that, then an easy choice.

Right in the centre of UBUD, next to the money forest. Easy access (walk) to shops. Large pool and good value of $45 Au per night (Aug 2023)

Long waiting for breakfast sometimes. No kettle in a room, tv didn’t work, Wi-Fi connection was poor. If you are afraid of monkeys it might be a problem because they are everywhere, for us, however, it was awesome to observe them every morning.

Location is great, very very close to the monkey forest and 15 min walk to ubud palace. Many shops and restaurants around. Room is very spacious. Staff is very kind and helpful. Breakfast is limited but tasty. Pool is nice.

Breakfast starts at 8 am, which is very late if you have activities to do or you're an early riser. The monkeys enter and are extremely aggressive. They tried to steal our bags. Reception don't help with bags, nor to organise taxis etc. Only motorbikes.

This place feels a bit unloved. So much potential but it falls a bit flat. The staff weren't very welcoming compared to the other places we stayed in. The pool seemed clean enough but it's not very inviting . It is a still pool so it appeared a bit stagnant by the end of the day with lots of insects in the water - no filter system was evident. We had booked 2 "superior" rooms and said so as we checked in but were put in two dark dank rooms that were nothing like the photos . They were clean and the beds were comfy but there was not enough water pressure to even wash your hands in the sink let alone have a shower. It's a shame they haven't put a bit more effort into the garden and the plants as that would actually make quite a difference to the atmosphere. Breakfast was pretty dreadful. We stayed 3 nights and ate out for breakfast every day after trying it the first day. We didn't mind the presence of the monkeys - but one of the other guests had a tobacco pouch taken from their balcony by a monkey so you have to be aware - the staff shooed them away when they became a nuisance.

It's a budget price hotel that has comfortable beds and is very central. You have to bear in mind the price and manage your expectations. It is perfectly fine for a very cheap stay for a couple of nights in central Ubud .

Some of the staff are a little dismissive but if you talk to the right people they are really helpful!

This place is in Central Ubud right next to the monkey forest and perfect if you want to be in the centre of the action. If you are not fussed about occasional confrontation with a monkey you are in the right place! 😉 Just don't leave any valuables on show. The hotel boasts two lovely pools and is a short walk away from tonnes of restaurants and bars.

we had cold showers which is a shame :( rooms could be a little brighter & have the facilities to make hot drinks in your room. The door locking system is fairly poor, especially with the monkeys, anyone could see in by pushing it open.

lovely location and right next to the monkey forest (practically in it) the style of bungalows were nice and bed was comfortable. pool was lovely & breakfast was great.

Location near monkey forest, if not careful, the monkey may come to your stay. Little disturb: one afternoon i ask to change the towel, but the housekeeping said they cannot change due all is still in laundry, Yet, i have given my old towel, but i need to ask them to return if they cannot replace with new towel. Also one afternoon, the water in the room is.not flowing due to reparation. I dont know why in the middle of high season, there is chaotic moment

The location near Monkey Forest Road Close to many stores & restaurant Swimming Pool Breakfast - bread & carbo (rice/noodle) Can pay at the hotel
