Room was clean but on arrival there was a small infestation of ants in the room coming from the wood of the window and making it to the bed. Once informing the staff he gave us insect spray to keep in the room and bought insect killer chalk and applied along the areas of the room to stop any further insects. He also came back to check later in the day and seemed to be fine from then on.

Good location, can walk easily to the beach and from there can walk along to the main roads. Large room and comfy bed. Staff was very accommodating and replied quickly on WhatsApp as well

Bathroom wasn’t very clean and in need of some TLC. Pool water/area could also be cleaner.

Host was very attentive and easy to contact. Helped to arrange transportation & inform the driver I was unwell. Location of the place is great & very close to the beach/La Brisa but still quiet & peaceful. Breakfast & pool were ok.

One of the trees by the pool is sick, and it leaves a lot of white “dust” in the water. It would deserve some treatment. I hope it will get better.

We stayed here in the separate small house for more than three weeks, and we’d book it again. The location is great, five minutes from our favourite beach, but in a very quiet street. Our window was overlooking a small river with jungle-like vegetation, and our door opened to the pool. The bathroom is half-outside, so you take a shower surrounded by nature, and some creatures even make it to the room, but we liked most of them. Agung is a super kind staff member. It’s not a spotless place, there are some rustic details, but we didn’t mind. Mocha the dog is really cute. And the garden is very pretty. The wifi was okay.

The overall stat of the "appartement" where I was staying wasn't great. I believe the place needs general maintenance. I felt I was asked a little bit too much what I was doing and where I was going. It was in a super friendly way of course but it felt sometimes intrusive.

Sometimes there was no water, and they said it was due to the low water pressure in an old building. One night halfway through my shower the water ran out and I waited for a good 15 minutes. It was an opportunity to practice mindfulness and patience. I did learn to appreciate water more though!

Great location, just 3mins walk from the beach! The room was spacious with a high ceiling. Agus the housekeeper was a very attentive and kind young man who helped me clear the shower drain when I told him the water was draining away too slowly.

Stunning villa, in a great location of canggu close to most things but in a quieter area and only 5 mins walk from the beach! Staff were great, very helpful and can cook a great breakfast for you on request. Mocha the dog made the stay 10x better

There were a group of kids partying there. It’s a hotel not a hostel. The “butler” there acts like he wants to help you. But what’s he really trying to do is get you to buy services from him like breakfast, taxi, and tourism packages. It’s a bit overbearing. I get he’s trying to help but it felt scummy to me. But I guess this isn’t something new to Bali.

you need a scooter to go to restaurants/bars. bathroom was old and needed reparation (shower leaking leaving the floor flooded). our room had no window to the outside, facing the common area with just glass doors so it could get noisy. the bed chairs in the pool Were old and broke so it was hard to stay in them.

Agung, the host, was really nice. very helpful all the time! the pool is nice and quiet. the room was big and the shower had good pressure. the beach is walkable distance.

lots of leaves in the pool and saw a rat in the kitchen when we were making some food. The staff were sure to clean anything we thought it had touched before he ran away. The door to our room closed a bit awkward. We felt it could have been spruced up a bit.

Nice sized pool in a quiet area of Canguu. A fully stocked albeit a bit cluttered kitchen you can use to make a meal. The breakfast was very good, the avocado toast was my favourite. Sadly, we booked just one week before the breakfast became included and we felt it would have been better value for money if they could have honoured the included breakfast for us. The staff were very good and sorted scooter rental for us.

We booked Villa Elang mainly for relaxing after three consecutive trips to Borobodur, Bromo and Ijen. We were really looking forward to a hot bath after arriving. We did not have any warm water for more than a day. After it got ‘fixed’ you could fill the bath for 20% before the water turned cold again. Furthermore, the bath was leaking (a bit) which caused our bathroom to be flooded. Luckily Agung pro-actively cleaned it. We received a small compensation for the above, but would be good to get this fixed, given that we would have preferred to just be able to have warm water.

The location is really convenient and quiet. Everything was well maintained, clean and the host was very friendly! Agung did everything that you could expect to make it us pleasant as possible. The swimming pool is more than big enough for the size of the villa and you are really near to the beach (<5 minutes) and popular restaurants (<15 minutes).

The location may be a little difficult to find initially. The pool is lovely with few lounge areas, but other than that the Villa is relatively no frills.

The staff was incredibly welcoming and held our bags for us, as we arrived earlier than the check in time. The pool is beautiful and well kept. There is a communal kitchen that provides clean drinking water. The room we stayed in was basic, but spacious. The location is amazing, with Echo and Canggu beach just a short walk away!

In out bathroom there was no shower curtain so when showering the water would flood the entire bathroom. Would be great to get that fixed for the next guests staying.

The location was in a very calm area but close enough to get to the main area of Canggu where all the cafes and restaurants are really quick. Also the location is just a 5 min drive away from the beach. The villa was amazing in its layout. We loved the shared kitchen and common area as well as the pool. Our room was spacious and just the perfect size. Our host Agung was very kind and we felt very welcomed and at home.

I wish I would stay longer.

The check-in went super smooth. I arrived very early in the morning, and as the room was still not ready, the manager Agung asked if I already have had a breakfast. I did not and he made sure that I am not hungry and feel comfortable. He recommended a place nearby which had a wide ray of breakfast options and so I had my morning meal there. The room was nice and clean. It was a hot morning when I arrived and I appreciated that when I checked-in the room was already cooled down. Agung provided me his WhatsApp number, so in case I needed anything, he was just a message away. He responded promptly to all requests I had. Overall, I really liked this place. The staff that I met here was genuinly nice, polite, and helpful which makes this place truly stand out.
