Breakfast option was not available although it was written there on booking. The additional options like rental were a bit overpriced, so you have to negotiate with the owner to get a reasonable price. Although overall the room was very clean we had a cockroach in the room. However, that can never be fully avoided by the hotel owner.

Nice view, a lot of options to book or rent directly at the hotel (e.g. a scooter, snorkeling equipment, tours, ...). Was a bit farther from the beaches, but also less touristic.

It’s dirty in general. The place required a good deep cleaning, especially bathroom. Pillows with black mold and smelly. Strong smell from pipes. Funny lazy receptionist: I asked for toilet paper, it was not on the room. And she didn’t bother even to bring it on the table, just dropped at reception desk.

On thé seaside. You can hear the ocean or drink locals. Probably it depends of your luck 🙂 Big bed, comfy matress. For 1 night it’s a nice option if not to sit it the room the whole of the time.

I left my shoes outside the door or our room before dinner went outside for dinner a couple hours later and they were gone. Very limited English by the workers

I'm digital nomad and wifi is not good. Although is in front of the sea you dont have acces to any beach. In fact beach is very far.

There was a strange smell in each room. In one room it would smell as if someone had smoked in there while in another it smell excrement sewers. A cockroach was found in one toilet.

The pricing is extremely adequate. The beds were comfortable and there was many ressources (breakfast, scooters, water bottles) available for new comers. The AC worked well. The staff was kind and available for our needs.

Furniture is old and needs fixing/replacing somewhere. There was no hot water, tissues, kettle etc before I asked about it. Thanks again to Sheila - everything we requested she helped!

I love the view! Amazing Batur Agung and Ocean! Deva Devi hotel is a nice place: clean hotel, big and high rooms, silent place and almost private beach. If there is ceremony - you can hear it from nearby Temple. Thanks a lot to Sheila - she is very respectful and kind, anything we needed - she helped!

Well located, crystal clear water, we can see huge turtles, at the hotel we can rent a motorbike.My husband and I came to stay for two days, we liked it so much that we stayed for two more days. Everything perfect. The view from our balcony was wonderful, the sunset and sunrise are surreal, very beautiful, the service was lovely, I will definitely come back and recommend it. Unforgettable moments 🥰

No hot water (broken), no hairdryer, no handle on the door (on the inside, was broken), crooked shelfs, poor breakfast, expensive scooter rental (found cheaper one in town). It must be said that we had high expectations because the list price was very high (there was a good deal on booking that made it cheaper, comparable to low cost accommodations), but the service was the same of any low cost accommodation. At some point there even was no water at all due to some broken pipe.

Booking.com advertise that this room was valued at $213 per night and there was a huge discount which is why we booked the property. There was supposed to be hot water at the property. When we arrived. None of the rooms had hot water. The power points were dodgy and quite dangerous. The fittings in the room were quite outdated and in need of repair, the dressing table was broken and dirty and the toilet seat was broken. The negotiated fee we paid for the room was fair for the quality provided. Our only argument is the false advertising at the hotel was luxury and certainly is not. The location of the property is absolute beachfront. But the beach was covered in fishing boats, so not much of a beach, really. The staff went above, and beyond as we made it clear, we were very dissatisfied with the hotel. A discount was negotiated after we arrived due to our disappointment.

The staff is super friendly, you can book some tours around the island for a really good price or rent a scooter and see it for yourself. She gave me tips on what to see and to do and some delicious fruits all for free. The room was very nice and clean and you can hear the live music from the bar across the road!

It was a little far out from sites but you need a driver or scooter anyway to get around Penida.

We had a perfect stay. There was zero compromises in view outside our room, cleanliness and comfort. The hotel does not serve food but restaurants adjacent to the hotel deliver food to your room if you want to eat inside.

Even though the beach is not beautiful you fall asleep listening to the sea.

The staff is great. I had forgotten something in the room and Putu personally came to the port before my boat left to return it to me. Unbelievable. The rooms are big and clean and very comfy.

It isn't very close to the most touristic places. However, that was positive for us, as we had a very nice drive around the island with the scooter and got the opportunity to visit smaller less touristic villages in our way to the southern attractions.

We loved to have a chat with Jerry (one of the managers at this place). He was very friendly and helped us to rent a scooter, as well as to get a car to drive us to the port. The rooms are quite simple, but what you get is a lot more than what you expected for the price you paid. I would definitely recommend it!
