Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Only thing was laundry took longer so if you need to do it then don’t do on check out day unless you have extra time. That wasn’t a deal breaker but more piece of advice.
Ok, I absolutely loved this place. Mostly also because I met a great group of people, but the vibe was amazing and beds were comfy. It’s more of a party hostel, but still was able to sleep as rooms were pretty quiet. It has 2 pools and loungers so that was chill. The live music was soooo good and great venue. I extended my stay and came back. It’s cheap and clean. The staff are friendly and flexible.

Would’ve liked more space in bathroom (as a female). Minor issue

AC in my room worked when it wanted to but I’m sure that was a fluke. I didn’t like the noise but perfect for younger people who enjoy the night scene with live music on site. Just not my preference right outside my bedroom door. Also had no coffee or tea that I saw in my two night stay.
Location was perfect to walk to beach or head into town. Great pools. Bed was comfy.

The dormitories are very well thought, with the curtains all around the large and comfy bed. It’s a great place to meet others travelers with two pools and commons area. Near batu bolong beach where the fun take place at night 👍

Maybe noisy the night because of the guitar concert but nice too
Staff very nice and smiling! Next to the beach, restaurants etc. Cheap for the prestation ! Beds perfect for intimacy 10/10

Wi-Fi wasn’t the best :( but it didn’t ruin the stay
Honestly the best hostel I’ve ever been to!! It’s really nice to have one bathroom per room because it keeps it clean. The hostel is beautiful, nice vibe and the staff is really nice! Really good location too

The 4 bed rooms on the bigger pool were not as comfortable

The driver told me the address in the app it’s wrong so it was hard to find the hostel. He told me too it’s the second time it happens. Please check because we almost had a bad time

Two different times we ask for water and coffee in the morning and they don’t have

The bathrooms were okay cleaned and the laundry service is expensive but the clothes were dirty as before when you got them again, even sunscreen stains.

The only thing that I would have improved was the size of the bathroom. The shower was pretty spacious, but the toilet was a bit cramped and there was very little space in the mirror/sink area. I saw some other rooms had storage shelves in the middle of their rooms, but unfortunately our room did not. Not a big problem, but would be nice to have a bit more space!
Location was perfect - close to the beach and to a range of cafés and shops. Should cost about 300-350K from Denpasar airport by taxi/Grab. The rooms were kept nice and cool, with privacy curtains around each bed. The toilet and shower had separate locked doors in the bathroom, which was convenient if multiple people wanted to use the bathroom. The pools were clean and I although I didn't use them, I often saw people swimming or lounging around. Best of all were the people! The staff and other travellers were so friendly, including the reception team and the staff at the bar/restaurant just next door. The food served there was delicious and great value for money, and the live music sessions with Boy George were fantastic.

Food and drinks were a little expensive. Lights at the beds were not working - at my bed. None of the bag storages were working. You had to pay for playing billiard.
The staff was really friendly. Beds were super comfortable. Beds had closing curtains. Beautiful atmosphere at the place. Clean pool. Included a beautiful bar. Billiard tables were available. Sometimes at night there was a live band.

The locals take the pool table, and they always want to bet, hard to play easy and relax
