There are lots of flies, but they use stuff to kill them so they were not in the room, this made it difficult to relax outside, but they seem to disappear when it is hottest in the day.

The staff, especially Wyan, were fantastic! Wyan took us up the mountain at 4 am for the sunrise hike, he even made us breakfast up there and was our own personal photographer! It was amazing! Everything was clean and the views were beautiful!! Food was great. I would love to go back 2 days was not long enough.

For you who prefer quite surrounding, less sound polution, this hotel is best for you. But for those who looking for night walk hangout and enjoying the village atmosphere in the night, you should look elsewhere.

The view is excellent no doubt. Perhaps it is the best lake-view spot among others.

The bathroom was smelly, damp and musty. No ventilation. Only some of the rooms had AC (if you wanted AC you didn’t get a view from your room) LOTS of flies!!! Also the pool was so dirty we didn’t get to use it

Even though the grounds were beautiful, I couldn't use the pool because there were so many dead insects in there, and you couldn't sit outside for more than a second before being covered head to toe in flies. I was only able to sit outside at night when they had gone or I'd find myself getting annoyed with them.

The room was very spacious, as was the bathroom with a nice hot shower. The AC was nice and cold and the wifi was adequate. The staff were very nice and friendly, and very helpful. They drove to the supermarket and bought my cigarettes for me, and we're always available for room service.

When we arrived they had cleaned and sprayed our room it was clean and didn't smell. The next morning the room unfortunately had a bad smell

Room, food and staff were amazing Komang was incredible. Really made this part of our trip so special. He is even a fantastic singer. When we left a bracelet in the room he arranged to post it to us. He will always be remembered and we would definitely go back to stay there.

Kintamani area has a serious fly prpblem. There were flies everywhere and they will get into the room and on the bed and everywhere. But they are gone once the temperature dips at night.

Great view from the pool. Facilities were basic but it is a small hotel on the slopes of Batur. Great location as it is the beginning of the trail to hike up Mt. Batur.

As other people have said, the flies. I couldn’t sit by the pool because the flies drove me crazy which ruined the experience for me as I was travelling alone and was forced to sit indoors. Bathroom hadn’t been cleaned properly from previous occupant. Stains on the bedding. The road to property is shot at. It’s a big walk down to the village and back up but the staff will willingly take you down in the car/bike. Pool full of bugs just because of agriculture and not because it’s not cleaned.

The staff. The view. The location to Mt Batur for Jeep tour/trekking. Silent air conditioning. Peace and quiet. Freshly prepared food. The wonderful staff work soooo hard, they do everything (including tours) so no wonder it’s not perfect. My guide was up at 3am with me then didn’t stop working until late evening. Huge respect.

The staff is friendly but I think they are short-handed so upkeep is average - toilet tissue insufficient, clogged shower, the swimming pool needs cleaning. If you’re not picky, the basic cleanliness is there.

The site is the key attraction. The design & landscaping and the views are superb. But the access road is not a proper tar road so it took a while to zig-zag our way up.

It's at the bottom of Mount Batur, so you can climb the mountain and meet the sunrise there. But if you don't have such plans, it's better to choose a hotel with a view of Batur, where you can see the sunrise from the cafe.

Nothing to not like about this place

Stayed 3 nights in room 4. Amazing view, fantastic staff. Room was large, clean and tidy. Did not need to have air conditioner. The 2 seater couch outside on the patio was the best thing ever - relaxing on that, reading a book, taking in the views, was exactly what I needed. I could have stayed there for a few weeks but Lovina is beckoning

The road up to Batur Green Hill isn't paved and quite rough in areas, but we enjoyed the challenge on our scooter hehe :-)

We had an amazing view overlooking Mount Abang and Batur lake. The staff (Komang and friends) were really amazing, he did everything. Cooking, cleaning AND taking us up to see the sunrise on Gunung Batur. Nothing was too much, he really enabled us in having an amazing time. Would def recommend this place if you want to do a Gunung Batur trekking and explore the area.

All the staff are accommodating, especially to Kumang, who's also my guide to trekk in Mt. Batur. The hotel is clean and safe. The mountain view from my room was relaxing.
