Quite a few bugs, but staff work hard to keep the villa as bug free as possible.

Gorgeous villa with amazing rice field views. Staff will go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. 24 hour security who would recognise us and the villa we were living in, making us feel extra secure. Loved that there was an indoor bedroom with aircon, as well as an outdoor bedroom and an outdoor hammock. Rooms were refreshed twice a day + perks including a free cocktail every night, free breakfast where staff would encourage you to order as much from the menu as possible. We had a few tours where our driver picked us up super early (3/4am) and for these days the staff packed us boxes of sandwiches and fruit for breakfast which was super thoughtful.

I highly recommend you stay at the Bambootel on your next Bali holiday. My partner and I were extremely happy with our stay at the Bambootel. The views combined with the perfectly crafted villas provided a luxury experience. The staff were amazing and super accommodating to our needs, they went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable during our stay. Shout out to Pasek! His hospitality was amazing.

Many bugs flying around at night, it was because it was near the nature

The hotel was located far from ubud center, it gave you a nice environment to relax. The Villa we stayed was beautiful and amazing! Staffs were friendly and nice. They surprised me with a birthday cake and even recorded a video for me which was very sweet! They also provided free shuttle car service to ubud center which is so great!

Nothing! Only issue is we couldn’t stay for longer.

Stayed in many top hotels of the world. Service impeccable from start to finish. The architecture of the villas to build something so complmex is mind blowing. Good food! All staff fantastic, one in particular - Our butler MANKIN ( she lives next door to the hotel) huge asset to bambootel. We Walked one morning to the rice fields with her. What a breathe of fresh air she truley is. Excited to see the future plans and vist again next year.

I can't recommend Bambootel in Ubud highly enough! The service was absolutely excellent - from the friendly staff to the little touches that made our stay so special. The view from our vila was simply breathtaking and surpassed our expectations by far. The unique atmosphere of the hotel, combined with the natural beauty of the surroundings, made our stay unforgettable. We will definitely be back!

food proportions are a bit small. there is no yoga on the site for complementary yoga but no big deal. still will come back.

There was nothing I did not like..

Everything was beautiful Pictures don't do justice, you have to experience it yourself -Breakfast included was amazing, you can order more than one coffee/cappuccino/caffe latte . There are 4 courses of breakfast with different options which is more than enough to eat - The gym is amazing to use ,very clean with cardio equipment and weights - The dinner is amazing ,the best local Indonesian food I've had in bali - Staff clean rooms twice a day and insects/mosquitos are managed very well .The bed also has nets which is great. - They offer shuttles to ubud central which is great if you want to visit the market or ubud central

The pool was dirty. We still had a very short jump in it during the night but in the mornings we saw how dirty it was and all insects swimming made impossible for us to use the swimming pool. I might recommend a more comfy and bigger sofa in the terrace to enjoy the view properly with comfort ( we had to go up on the hamac to chit chat) We found restaurant prices quite expensive.

Villas are wonderful. Incredible views from the villa. Staff is very kind and gives a lot of attention to all requests and ensure we are happy with the stay. Fitness area very nice as well as the restaurant.
