Located in a convenient location of Ubud, it is a quaint and peaceful homestay overlooking a little river. Staff were very polite and helpful. Wayan helped us in booking tours and activities.

Great clean room away from the noisy and crowded Ubud centre yet only 10 minutes walk to centre. Lovely pool and quiet location. Breakfast was yummy and staff were attentive and friendly. The owner is a very good Bali style artist.

Bathroom is not that updated and could use more towels. Our doors from the inside to the outside of the room did not close properly.

Great value for money in a nice central location walking distance from all the major restaurants and bars in Ubud. Beautiful, well maintained pool with jungle view. Friendly front desk and room was kept very clean. Effectively kept mosquitos out of our room with various sprays/etc. especially in the evening.

Best place i stayed in bali on this price range! you swim literally inside the forest, you can enjoy the pool, the view. My room was facing the trees, and during day/night i heard too many interesting birds sounds which i really enjoyed. Also i like that they have water fountain in the rooms so you can fill your bottles. Additionally, big kudos to friendly stuff for helping us out and arranging gili journey! You can go to touristic part (around monkey forest) with a 5 min bike ride but still, if you wanna be right in the middle of touristic part and bars, this is not the best location for you. But as i said, it's just 5 min bike ride.

The location is on a narrow road behind a main street which helps reduce the noise and traffic. The only problem with this is that most cars and taxis cannot easily drive to the front door. If you have a taxi pick you up, have them meet you on the main road and then it is no problem at all!

Aji Lodge is a beautiful private retreat right in the heart of Ubud. It is in immediate walking distance of a large variety of restaurants and shops. Due to its location we weren’t able to hear the noise of traffic and downtown, so it felt very private and peaceful.

Approach road was narrow and the property had very little lighting after dark. Pool was good but a little dirty.

We had a great stay at Aji Lodge Bungalow. The location is quiet, private and very leafy. We enjoyed sitting on our private balcony in the mornings and looking at the view of the jungle. The staff were very accommodating and very welcoming. Reception is able to organise everything you need including tours, and they also have scooters to rent.

Lovely location in quiet street. Room up the back overlooking rainforest & lovely place to sit on the balcony. Comfortable bed, good to have fridge in the room. Friendly staff - 24 hour reception good as I arrived after midnight. Helpful arranging motorbike.

I liked the location, it was central and quiet. We wanted to be at a place that is not a hotel, but is traditional and still has good facilities. It met my expectation. I had read some reviews mentioning weak showers and spotty WiFi, but honestly, those were such minor details that they hardly warranted concern. Should you do a live webinar with this WiFi connection here? No! But perfect for my everyday browsing! Should you shower all day long? No! But perfect for a refreshing daily rinse! Sometimes I just don't understand people and their expectation... I loved that this place was authentic, calm and safe. I'd come back any time!

the budget room was closer to the road and at night you could hear motorcycles, also because the motorcycle parking from all the Aji cottage guests was right below it.

as many before us mentioned in their reviews, this place offers a feeling of privacy and remote atmosphere of nature in the middle of the busy Ubud nightlife. We rented a cottage and a room, both had all necessary for a comfortable stay. As there are just a few cottages/ rooms we had opportunity to enjoy the swimming pool alone. So did others. Beautiful, serene, definitely worth the money. We managed to have a very relaxing time there with a beautiful jungle view from our cottage.

It was perfect! Nothing negative.

The most beautiful little hotel I have ever seen. Hidden in a small quiet alleyway. The lodging is also a family's home so you have to go through all the little tempels and altars to get to the reception. I had the star bungalow with a view of the pool and the jungle. Only noise I heard were the cute "Gecko" sounds. Staff were so friendly and would serve you breakfast on your own veranda.

Loved everything about this accommodation. It was close enough to walk everywhere, but just off the main road so also quiet. The main reason I booked this place was because of the nature and green forest by the pool, and it didn't disappoint. It was so beautiful and peaceful!! Unfortunately I got bit by a dog while out on a walk but the staff here were so helpful, taking me to the doctor, and making sure I got the treatment I needed. Breakfast was also delicious, and the room and facilities were great. Thank you so much for everything!
