It’s a little bit of a walk to the river, I would probably opt for a hotel closer to the river next time, although it was a really beautiful hotel.

We had a beautiful room, very spacious and beautifully decorated. If you want to visit the New York Cafe, definitely do it when you arrive as there were constant queues outside for it. We didn’t have breakfast, but it did look like that was served in a lower level so you don’t really get the New York Cafe experience.

The fittings in the bathroom let it down - they were loose and not good quality, you needed a big ugly step to get into the bath/shower, there was no way to turn on the shower without getting either freezing cold or scalding hot water on you as you couldn't reach the tap without being under it, the balcony was a little dirty and tired looking, and could have done with some pot plants and greenery to make it more attractive.

Fabulous hotel with great ambience. Lovely big atrium with lots of chilling out space, fabulous breakfast/dining area, food was amazing - huge variety for breakfast and great quality, lovely evening meal with high quality ingredients. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely wellness area - had a great massage. Very close to the tube - great public transport system for getting about.

One of the most memorable hotel experiences I have ever had. Each space is just breathtaking and exceptional, from the lobby to the rooms and the spa, not to mention the unique New York Cafe. The staff were remarkable and very kind, going as far as swiftly shipping me a coat I left behind into another country. The breakfast was nothing short of magical – the selection itself was stunning, but we were also enjoying it in what is arguably one of the world's most gorgeous cafes. The gym and the spa were also perfect, calm spaces with everything you could possibly need. I would not miss this opportunity when in Budapest. We will definitely be back!

The hotel’s location is not convenience to tourist destinations

Very friendly staffs to help us for restaurants recommendation and the taxi. The Famous New York cafe is right in side the building. We don’t have to wait long line to get in.

At a reasonable distance from the “heart of the city”, yet easily accessible from all major points. The comforting atmosphere captures one’s senses immediately. And what a truly unforgettable breakfast! Nevertheless, the staff gets most of the credit.

The shower in our room 248 is mouldy, requires updating, took away from the luxury of the room. The curtains need the hooks sorting out, this is the curtain on the left.

I liked the hospitality. All staff were very professional, personable, very helpful. Spa facilities were amazing, turning down service was lovely.

The service in the restaurant was slow and the waitresses were not too friendly, but the NY Cafe is absolutely beautiful.

The moment you walk in, you feel the luxury. Everyone who works there was very helpful. The suite was spacious and beautifully furnished. The spa is also beautiful. The sauna and the pool are clean and perfect temperature. Ilona gave me the best Swedish massage ever. As guest of the hotel at the NY Cafe they will find you a table anytime without reservation.

Rather random selection of TV channels, not in any order, and availability (!) of propaganda channel - Russia Today (which should be rather a shame for this class of hotel)

It was a great experience to stay in the hotel. The staff was very helpful, and well organized. The room was very spacious (beyond expectations) with wonderful bathroom. Wonderful experience at breakfast - wide selection of tasty food, juices, smoothies etc. and additional breakfest dishes. The breakfast service was well-mannered and really made my day!

The attitude of the concierge left a lot to be desired. Also, the incessant stream of tourists taking internal photographs of the cafe is a complete pain in the neck.

Architecture was stunning, though the New York Cafe was not to my taste.

very good brekfast i liked the food and the drinks. the locaition was ok but to get to some places we had to walk a liitel bit to much or take the bolt taxi.
