Who cares the old bathroom if you get that marvelous sea-view? The hotel is so close to the sea you can even spit into the sea from your balcony.(Theoretical, don't do that) Good breakfast , private free parking, free sunbeds on the hotel's beach, greek cousine restaurant. Very good value for the price.

Mattress was a bit hard as we are older. A topper pad would help a lot.

The staff were lovely. The food was very nice and seemed available most of the day. The serves are generous and nicely presented. Being on the beach was a treat even though the weather was not very warm. Parking was right there and easy. Any music was turned off at 10. Good safe swimming beach. Pretty view.

The restaurant (for breakfast / dinner) is directly on the beach, setting is very nice. Our family room conisted of two connected rooms, more than enough space for family of five.

Breakfast was dissapointing. Of course you can not expect much for the price, but still... some things (olives, marmelade) didn't taste very nice.

For a 2 star hotel we can not complain about anything. If you want to sleep well with windows open, you should book a sea view room. 😄

Right on the sandy beach and delicious Greek traditional cuisine dishes and a variety of fresh fish. The prices are fair and I can say is cheap compared with other places.

The location is perfect, the owners are always here for any question, the staff in the restaurant are very kind and polite and the food is the best in the place. The rooms are cleaned every day. That some complain about the furniture in the rooms, of course it is not the most modern and newest, but let's not forget that it is a 2 star hotel and not a 5. For a 2-star hotel, you get more in fact. The sea is very clean and the beach is sandy. It is absolutely value for money

Our experience was perfect.

Hotel Solon is a truly phenomenal place to stay. My family and I were greeted by the owner and his son upon our arrival. The hotel staff is friendly and polite and made our stay a wonderful one. My family and I were highly impressed by their restaurant and menu. My kids constantly used phrases like, “This is the best in Tolo”, “This is the best I’ve ever had”. The staff was attentive to us and extremely friendly. In addition, every meal is served with an incredible view of the sea. It makes for a picturesque experience. My family and I have traveled extensively in Greece, and my family lists Hotel Solon as their favorite place to stay. George and his staff make their hotel a “home away from home”.

We booked our trip to Tolo thinking we would enjoy a quite place on the beach following our first 2 days in Athens. With its welcoming, hospitable staff, spacious accommodations, and amazing beachfront location, Hotel Solon surpassed our expectations. Its location in relation to Ancient Mycenae, Epidaurus, Nafplio, and more was also ideal. We stayed six different places during our trip to Greece, and though each place was clean, comfortable, and well-priced, our whole family agreed that Hotel Solon was our favorite.

Although quite well maintained, facilities are quite old. An upgrade would be excellent. Bathroom is small, especially shower.

Excellent location, right on the beach. We were given seaview rooms and it was absolutely fantastic. The views, the sounds of the waves and the sunsets and sunrises were absolutely fabulous. Plentry of good eateries around and only 15 mins by car to Nafplio city. Rooms were average size and clean. Has an elevator and plenty of parking. The reception lady was fantastic, very helpful and friendly. The other staff in the hotelwas great as well

Our stay at this Booking hotel was truly unforgettable. We loved the fact that the hotel was practically on the beach, as this allowed us to fully enjoy the sand and sea without having to worry about transportation. The hotel's location couldn't be better for those looking for a relaxing seaside vacation. Although we had originally booked a room without sea views, the hotel owners were extremely kind and provided us with a room with sea views at no additional cost. This gesture was much appreciated and allowed us to enjoy our time at this wonderful hotel even more. The hotel's restaurant also deserves special mention. The food was delicious, and we were pleasantly surprised by how affordable the prices were. We were able to taste local dishes and enjoy a quality culinary experience without having to spend a fortune. In summary, this hotel is the perfect place for a beach vacation, thanks to its unbeatable location, the friendly treatment from the owners, the sea views, and the delicious food at reasonable prices.
