Parking is less than ideal as it’s in a lot close to the apartment and there’s a risk of not finding a spot. We had no problem but in high season, it might be more challenging.

The property was conveniently located near the port. It was a short walk to old town and restaurants. The apartment was clean, well appointed and the terrace was terrific.

The room is up a few flights of stairs and there is no lift. We were unable to drop our bags off early, which was mildly inconvenient. The bathroom has a glass door, and is right across from the bedroom, which I didn't like. Also it appears that there is only hot water in the shower in the evening, we were leaving on an early ferry and had to make do with cold showers before we left.

Great location, only a short walk to the ferries or into the old town. There is also a supermarket nearby, or there are some fast food restaurants. The bus from the airport also stops nearby. The apartment also has a good kitchen and a washing machine. There is also a nice outside terrace with a view of the town.

Had we been younger, we would have appreciated the place more. But being older guests, it was a challenge to manage three flights of stairs to reach the apartment, especially with one’s luggages. Other than this personal constraint, the place is really ideal to stay in while in Heraklion.

The apartment is close enough to Heraklion port, so it was a respectable walking distance away. There is a McDonald’s and several eating places, plus a small store nearby as well. As it was a rooftop apartment, the place was also quiet and peaceful. The kitchen was adequately equipped, and everything one needs is practically available (iron & ironing board, extra beddings, dining ware, cookware, cutlery, toiletries, towels, linen, even some books to read!).

Since I booked it via booking.com I assumed it was a hotel. But it was actually an Airbnb style apartment on the top floor of a 3 storey block of flats. No sign outside. The taxi driver rang a bell but no answer. I tried to call but nobody picked up. After I wrote a message the code to a key box arrived straight away though. There is a supermarket and a basic Greek restaurant about 10 min walk away. Otherwise there is a Mac Donald 3 min walk away. Airport is a 15 min taxi ride

It’s a 5 min walk to the KTEL (central bus station) and very tastefully furnished, clean and quiet. A big apartment with a lovely roof top terrace.

The water temp was a little funky in the shower. It would suddenly go hot then cold. There was a door to the patio by the bedroom that didn’t have shutters or curtains. I had no way to block out light when trying to sleep, and I’m the kind of person who needs that at night.

The location was awesome. Ten mins from the ferry port, which is what I needed. Also very close to the bus station. The apartment itself was amazing as well. All very modern except the bathroom, not that I need a modern bathroom.

The cozy rooftop apartment in Heraklion absolutely charmed us! The highlight is definitely the beautiful big terrace. With its open view, a fantastic spot to relax at any time of the day. The location is perfect. Just around the corner there's a great selection of bakeries and supermarkets. The apartment was fully equipped with everything you can imagine, making it a truly comfortable and convenient home base for exploring Heraklion.

While the room lacks a door, it's not a significant issue, especially given the fact that winter nights are quite dark.

The host was delightful, the apartment was immaculate and ideal. We even received a thoughtful New Year's gift from the host! The location was a straightforward and convenient 15-minute stroll to the city center.

We prefer a larger bed though we knew this going in. I ended up sleeping on the couch. The shower was cramped.

It was close to the airport for our early morning flight and walkable to the sights we were interested in and the deck was lovely!

Did not bother me but it is important to know that there is no lift. It's on the 3rd floor. No central heater but there is one wall heater and perhaps I don't know how to work it but it didn't heat up the entire apartment.

The place was modern and clean with all the amenities. Location is just a 15-20 minute walk to the heart of old town but as a result, it is nice and quiet. Parking is easier (can be a challenge in Herklion). Great coffee shop just a 10 minute walk away (Steam).

Nothing, everything was great! I would perhaps suggest the host to replace the white light bulbs (personally I find warmer lights more cozy, but that may be a personal preference :))

The apartment was fantastic, everything we needed + coffee/tea and cold water in the fridge that we really appreciated. The location is easy to find, walking distance to the city center and there’s plenty of parking spots (down the street from the apartment. It was so much easier to stay here if you have a car, I wouldn’t recommend staying in the city centre due to the super narrow streets). The host was very commumicative and welcoming, though we didn’t meet in person unfortunately. The rooftop terrace was beautiful!

The main reason for choosing this apartment was its proximity to the main bus station which is only a short walk away. The apartment was perfect- very clean, spacious, well equipped (including a washing machine) and a large balcony. There is a large supermarket close by. We highly recommend this apartment.
