The house is situated at the base of Meteora. Gorgeous views. It's off of a little, quiet lane. There's a table outdoors where we dined. Fabulous.

Comfortable and cosy in a sleepy little village on the foothills of the mighty rocks. Good walking straight from house. Owners easy to deal with. Friendly family cat added to the farm/country like atmosphere. Wifi a little patchy at times but look at the location! Pretty amazing to have wifi at all really! Highly recommend.

Be warned. If you decide to stay at Paradise of Meteora B, please know that there is a working farm nearby with donkeys. We weren't prepared and were a little disconcerted by the farm smell, at first. The smell was not all the time and I think it actually added to the charms of the place along with the rooster crowing. Also, the internet didn't work for us while we were there, but I was told it's due to an upgrade and just needed a reboot. Also, only two of the three bedrooms have AC. The kitchen area doesn't have AC. These are only minor points since we're able to cool down the whole place by keeping the bedroom doors open.

The location. Kastraki is right there in the Meteora but away from the bustling touristy area of Kalampaka. It's also a few walking minutes away from nice restaurants in the village. The house is a converted farmhouse and it's like in the picture. Nothing fancy but comfortable beds. In the early mornings it's very nice to have coffee outside with the cliffs right there in front of you. There's also a hiking trail near the house that connects to the other trails that you could hike up to the monasteries. Do ask for a map because the trails are not clearly marked.

Great space and a spectacular view. We like staying in a quieter party of town and this apartment was perfect. You could easily walk to restaurants and grocery stores, but it was in a quiet area. The noisiest neighbors were the rooster and donkey down the street. We had a car for exploring the area. The apartment was comfortable and clean.

There are two places with the name of Paradise of Meteora. This one is "B" and the gps coordinates for its location are wrong and will leave you stranded at an intersection several hundred meters down the street. The street sign marking the location is tiny and easily overlooked. The correct coordinates are 34 deg 43.200 min, 21 37.295. Also, and this almost affected my review score, the host failed to give us the code for the key box before we left our previous place (where we were had wifi access). The house location is correctly identified on Google Earth. Our phones had spotty coverage in that area and it was difficult (and expensive) for us to call him once we arrived and found the house. Quite irritating. Key codes should be provided 24 hours in advance of arrival. No microwave or coffee maker. These things almost resulted on a lower rating, but I decided that they were fixable by the host, and didn't warrant a markdown, especially considering the remarkable location and other positive factors. Occasional dog barking.

Modern house with three bedrooms, in a stunning location among the towering, monastery-topped cliffs of Meteora. From the patio, you can watch climbers on the nearby cliffs, see numerous monasteries, and the changing shadows on the cliffs caused by the sun coming up and going down. Very clean, quiet, safe, comfortable. Pretty well equipped, but lacked a microwave. Despite a few negatives, see below, this is a great place with lots of restaurants just down the street and access to hiking trails among the cliffs. Off street parking.

Great place. Spacious, with view to the rocks. There is a beautiful yard and place for a car. It is at the end of the village, you can even go to the saith Nikola monastery by walk. The host was responsible. We had an issue with the heating and he came to fix it. We were searching for a relaxing place with beautiful view close to the monasteries and we found exactly this. I would definitely get back here.
