nice staff but a bit non professional, we were often disturbed in our room despite a clear sign on the door, employees were very loud around the pool, the diner experience was underwhelming to say the least ( not so tasty food, pricy and we didn’t get to order desert, the chef had already left…). the location is not that great and the surroundings are lacking and unfortunately you see them from your terrasse

thé design creating a really cocoon atmosphere, the pool is one of the most beautiful I ever saw the breakfast was very very good and so nice not to have a buffet very helpful staff with the reservations

Cocktails a bit too expensive compared to the rest of the island.

Front desk services was absolutely amazing. The rooms was stylish, yet comfortable. The pool and beach area was excellent. Isabella at the front desk made us feel so welcome and taken care off. She ensured that our stay in Santorini was just perfect and that we had such a great experience.

The food and experience were great! This was the last leg of our trip and it was nice to wind down with a massage and relaxation/drinks by the pool! We loved all the staff, especially the bartenders!! The drink and food menu had plenty to pick from. The hotel made several accommodations for us, which was very helpful, including taxi rides to and from Oia. Would highly recommend this hotel!

The pool, spa, breakfast, employees, rooms… all were outstanding! The beach property is beautiful with delectable cushions and service for your every need, but with the lovely saltwater pool, I scarcely wanted to leave the pool to go to the beach side of the property! Our plunge pool was perfect for an evening dip after a long day, and the staff took excellent care of us from the time we stepped out of our car. Going above and beyond they were friendly and kind and very responsive. 15/10 !

Our only minor gripe is that on all 3 of their menus (breakfast, beach and dinner) there are dishes marked as vegan that, upon ordering we were told are not in fact suitable for vegans and that they are mislabelled. This shrank vegan options to one single item in some cases

An absolute oasis of calm and relaxation along Perivolos. The staff cannot be faulted and will take care of any and all requests (arranging transportation while out and about is a fantastic asset to have). Food was very tasty, in particular their a la carte breakfast menu where ingredients are so fresh and high quality. The rooms are spacious, private and comfy and the pool area is just a dream - the slick dark tiled pool is perfect for swimming lengths and offers a cold water jacuzzi in one end (bring your book while the jets lull you into blissful relaxation)

If you end up getting a suite 10 (Saga) which is being advertised as a suite with a side sea view, you may be disappointed. You really need to stretch your neck to see it. Having said that the room is super quiet and you do get a full view of the swimming pool area.

Very modern small (12 rooms) hotel with a nice touch, with comfortable and beautiful spacious room and terrace, just steps aways from the beach line and sea. Fantastic swimming pool and tasty drinks. Amazing bathroom facilities, good sound isolation. Staff was very friendly and helpful, smooth check-in/out. Amazing breakfast. All day beach menu is rather small, but overall food tasted delicious. Gym would be a nice addition though. Definitely one to recommend!

We stayed at Istoria for our honeymoon and it was probably the best hotel experience we have ever had - in part because the Perivolos side of Santorini is so lovely, underdeveloped and we loved the clean black sand beach - but probably in larger part due to the staff. They created a WhatsApp group with us and couldn’t have been more helpful in arranging transfers, giving recommendations and generally being so lovely and welcoming. Special mention to Petros, Angelo, Katerina, Anastasia and Eleana - but every single staff member was a dream. Thanks for an amazing stay.

It’s expensive. Worth every dollar anyways.

Everything was simply perfect. I’m 31 and travel often. This is the best luxury hotel in my life! You get best service, view, room , breakfast and attitude. Go there and you will never regret. Peter and Yannis are the best admins in Greece. Everyone is kind, caring and polite. Best pool, best shore. I mean, we are thrilled and can’t believe we were that lucky. 100 out of 100.

There is not much to disappoint in this hotel.

The property was beautiful. The pool and the beach were perfect places to relax. The food in the hotel was healthy, creative, and delicious. The staff in the hotel were the highlight though. They were so professional, helpful and completely dedicated to top notch hospitality.
