Everything was perfect for us.

The view of the Acropolis is wonderful from the hotel. The breakfast buffet is delicious and with great choices and the best part is that it is offered with view of Acropolis. The spa was incredible and very fairly priced for treatments. The staff at hotel and spa are very friendly yet professional. They went above and beyond to accommodate our needs during our stay. We highly recommend the Grand Hyatt Athens.

The lifts were needlessly complex and took long, the bedside plugs did not work. Amazing breakfast buffet but the heating was not up to scratch and warm food cooled quickly. The cocktails at rooftop bar were more like fruit juice were overpriced.

Big room, modern design, amazing rooftop infinity bool with a view of the Acropolis. Polite staff, nice breakfast. Always taxis nearby or at the front door. Great soundproofing.

We stayed on the 8th floor, the room was not soundproof. There was some kind of very loud engine that we assumed was the pool on the rooftop and it kept going on all night long and it was hard to ignore when trying to sleep. We could also hear everything going on in the halls and even the TV from the next room at some point. They were watching friends and we heard it clear as day. The keycards also kept getting deactivated for some reason and we had to go twice to reception to get them fixed and ended up with 4 keycards and we had to try which one worked every time we left the room. Also the pillows are very thin. The hot tub at the spa was very hot the first day we got there and I guess someone complained and they turned down the heat more than they should have because for the rest of our stay it was barely warm and it ruined it for us. On our last day we tried asking a staff if they could make it hotter and he simply said no.

The room was great and spacious although a bit confusing to get to at first. The rooftop pool was just amazing we unfortunately didn’t have much sun to fully enjoy it however we enjoyed relaxing by it as it has a great view on the Acropolis. And we loved the spa. Very relaxing and my husband enjoyed the Swedish Massage. Staff is really friendly and helpful and have a chill vibe and nice attitude. Breakfast was so worth it, diverse and great quality. I found the Prosecco with breakfast to be a very thoughtful touch for those who enjoy a bubbly drink at 7 am ! The location is very good, close to pretty much everything we needed and easy to get to. Overall it was a great stay ! Will definitely be back and recommend to everyone.

Outdoor pool could be heated. You could take a bath on a sunny day, but it would be ideal to have it heated in May.

This is definitely the best hotel I have stayed in recent years. Rooms are spacious, rooftop pool offers amazing view. We had interior room and it was very nice and quiet. We didn't even hear other guests in the halls. It is not centrally located but I liked the location as taxi is very cheap (8 EUR to Acropolis or Sintagma) and you can move around easily and fast. It is also close to the port Piraues, and we liked it as we went on a daily cruise and it took as 10 mins.

They don’t add coffee capsule everyday. Just first 2 capsule for free unlike other hotels.

Location away from noisy area. Great place to rest. Swimming pool were added and expanded. Would only return to same hotel in Athens.

You need to plan your arrival according to check-in time as it's unlikely you'll get early check-in than 3 pm. Alternatively, you leave your luggage at the hotel and head out exploring and check in later. You can avail the spa services prior to check-in to freshen up and head out if required. Consideration long flights it is a good option available.

The staff was extremely friendly and the location is within 2k of Plaka where you tend to spend most of your time. You have a shuttle service from the hotel to a centralised location which makes it convenient to get there. Also, there is a hop on hop off bus stop right outside Hyatt which makes visiting other places extremely convenient and tickets can be purchased from Hyatt. It's recommended you include breakfast in your stay as it's good and the view from the restaurant on the 9th floor is amazing.

Knocked on the door 5 times by different employees at different times . [When DND has been set up and We have told them that they do not need to clean.]

I didn’t like that kids were allowed in the spa area. The spa packages are expensive, but you can’t fully relax because there are kids running all around entering the pool, sauna, and other amenities. Also their elevator system is a great concept, they just need more elevators. We waited 5 minutes for an elevator on more than one occasion!

Maybe the food items in breakfast spread could be changed daily, with repeat every week. Instead they were the same items every day.

The rooftop is excellently designed. There are 2 infinity pools with numerous lounges and water beds for lying down. The free spa includes a jacuzzi and a huge swimming pool - both heated, both of them were amazing. All facilities are well maintained. Bonus, if you opt for the breakfast spread, its good too.

The hotel was great but is in a seedy location surrounded by several adult entertainment venues (can get quite intimidating late at night. That being said it didn't spoil our hotel experience.

The hotel rooftop bar and restaurant was stunning!!! Also the gym and spa facilities were very nice and clean
