Location was amazing! Rooms, balcony, location and the staff were fantastic! The port town was so lovely. The staff were so nice and helpful! Nicole and Georgia greeted us, helped us with a rental car, tours and even sent over some tea and crackers when I got motion sickness after a day tour. Definitely recommend and we will be back!

My stay was too short :-) For work and pleasure I travel a lot. I know what I am talking about when giving my feedback on accommodation. I also read the reviews. When you see these for this establishment the positive comments are right and high evaluation rates are well deserved. It is true that there is no elevator, no reception desk or restaurant and some say in the comments that this is not a hotel, but all this is exceeded by the points I mentionned above, the kindness, attention and reactiveness of the staff and in particular of Georgia. The e-mail instructions and whatsapp messages were clear and perfect for me as an autonomous rather independent traveller, but if you need further assistance with your arrival, your room, visit to the city or nearby attractions or trips you only have to ask. On top of this, the establishment have arrangements with cafés, restaurants and shops litteraly on the frondoor where you can have your breakfast, local food or but local souvenirs. It is a lively, local community of small familiar businesses where everybody know each other, you can feel it and it is exceptional!

The location, the size, comfort, modernity and big size of the room, the flat screen tv, the bathroom and the fully equipped kitchen corner. The cleanliness was impeccable and attention to detail in the decoration and furniture (neutral colors, modern, not overwhelming), in the bedding and toiletries. I requested the room to be made everyday and upon my return from the day I found the room in pristine state, bed made and fresh (air conditioning, air freshener, candy, new bottles of water and tea and nespresso capsules refurbished), even the toilet paper was delicately folded. Bravo for the maintenance staff! My room had a big balcony with views to an interior patio and was very calm. Lots of light but also with convenient blackout curtains. All this with affordable prices in the venitian port (5 min. walk to waterfron) with shops, restaurants next door. On my checking out they allowed me to leave my luggage so that I could still spend some extra hours visiting. I really feel lucky to have found this address and do not hesitate to recommend it. I will certainly come back!

The location of this stay is wonderful. It is right in the heart of the city and a close walk to everything. It was a bit loud on Friday and Saturday night, since the windows faced the Main Street, but that was to be expected considering the central location.

Great location, attentive staff, assisted us with booking transit and answered all of our questions quickly. Room was clean and had everything we needed.

The street can be noisy, especially on the weekend. I'm not a light sleeper myself, but if you are, I recommend earplugs.

Really nice accommodation in the best possible location in Hania! The room was lovely and it also included a balcony with a view of the sea. I enjoyed a lot!

Upon our early arrival, we encountered a minor issue with the keypad. However, a member of the staff immediately resolved it with such warmth and efficiency, truly making us feel like valued guests. While our stay was thoroughly enjoyable, we did notice a couple of minor differences from our expectations. Despite expecting a balcony overlooking the street, our room faced the opposite direction. Although initially surprising, the nighttime view from our room was quite charming. Additionally, navigating the stairs to the top floor proved to be a bit of a workout. However, these minor discrepancies did very little to diminish the warmth of the hospitality and the overall positive experience we had during our stay!

We'll definitely return if we visit Chania again! I cannot praise this hotel enough. The level of cleanliness was impeccable, and the owner's hospitality truly exceeded our expectations. Upon entering the room we were greeted by a delightful fragrance (although admittedly it would prove quite strong at times). Every detail, from a smart TV to the complimentary amenities like water and coffee, was carefully thought out. The beautifully decorated interior and ample natural light made the room incredibly inviting. It is also worth noting that Georgia, the property manager, also checked in on us and was always just a phone call away from addressing any of our needs in a very warm and respectful manner. Overall, I have never felt more welcome in any hotel. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a memorable and comfortable stay!

Can be a bit noisy (if someone above you is having a party :)) but after some gentle persuasion that went away.

Location is brilliant, right beside the port and very easy to navigate to. Rooms are beautiful, bright, modern and spotless. Any contact with the team managing the property was excellent and answers were provided very quickly. Could leave our luggage in a luggage room whilst taking a late flight out.

Stairs, proximity to loud bars with music. Shower doesn’t drain well. This property comes up as hotel-it is not-it’s a 6 apt building with basically one room with kitchen area and bath. Listing ( to me) is confusing. 🫤

Great location ( save for the noise from the bar nearby), nice and attentive stay-thank you Georgia for the upgrade!And very clean! Very efficient for a one room apartment-it’s not a hotel! I enjoyed sitting out on the very small balcony with a place to hang your clothes.

I adored my stay at Cretan Berry. Georgia and her staff are very professional and welcoming ; full of helpful recommendations, flexible for arrival and departure times, and easy to communicate with. I arrived knowing little to nothing about the island and was able to explore lots thanks to Georgia’s advice :) The room is clean, pretty, and the views from the balconies are just lovely — especially at sunset. Highly recommend !

Honestly really loved everything. The only thing that I would comment on is the fact that you don’t meet anyone. I know they are always there to help but you don’t have a real physical point of contact. That isn’t just for Cretan Berry though. Becoming more common in our new age. But regardless they were helpful and kind!!

The location was superb, right in the middle of old town. The manager was great - our plane landed early in the morning and she was able to accomodate an early check in with an upgraded room for us. Having a washing machine available was also really handy.
