There is no proper restaurant , you need to go to Monemvasia or the village on mainland, which do offer good choice though.

Breakfast both mornings was a bit frustrating - but the second day was just unacceptable. Advertised with a start time at 7.55am but NO hot water for tea at 8.00am :( this should be all set up properly well before guests arrive. No tongs or other utensils to select food. Fried eggs and bacon were cold - these should be kept warm. NO tea bags for people who drink black tea with milk and sugar - I do not think many people want vanilla, chamomile and caramel tea at breakfast. Breakfast was also advertised as English Breakfast which consists of much more than fried eggs and bacon. The big issue for us was the property two doors along the road that has several big, aggressive dogs that barked and carried on at night (and in the day). Really irritating when you want to enjoy the nice evening breeze instead of being boxed in with air-conditioning. We are mindful that this is NOT the fault or responsibility of Alkinoi but it is off putting

Room was perfect and we received an upgrade - appreciated, thank you. Manager and ladies in reception all very helpful and friendly, very nice greeting. Breakfast was included with a good variety.

The only out of order situation I can think of is the shower drain which is not well installed and it goes out of place.

New accommodation in a great spot overlooking Monemvasia. The swimming pool is one of the best and the salty water makes it even more attractive. The Manager was very attentive from the check in to the check out and has a passion for hospitality. Great receptionists as well. The room was big enough with fantastic view and the airco was working as it should. Massage treatment was really worth it and the spa session which is included in the price was the pinnacle of our stay. All in all, a truly recommended place to relax in Monemvasia area and look forward to visit it next year.

Wanted to sleep with door open for air. But a bunch of huge dogs were barking all night on the property next door. Though once we shut the door at 3 am, we didn’t hear them.

Nothing major really, the airco had trouble cooling the room but it was still very comfortable. Also the sink was weirdly low, but if anything more funny than a problem.

The view was beautiful, sitting in the terras during breakfast seeing the acropolis of Monemvasia is a sight to behold. We also ordered room service and it was pretty affordable and very tasty. The room was clean and had everything we need.

The hotel was from start to finish superb . The check in was so friendly and inviting. Iannis the manager was excellent, a really caring, friendly person. He and his staff were all 5*. They were charming, friendly and helpful. The room was superb , clean, well appointed , had a large balcony overlooking the bay. The gardens and pool area were so clean and cared for. The salt water pool was a very relaxing and the area had plenty of seating and sunbeds. The breakfast area was superb overlooking the bay and Monemvasia. The breakfast was a wonderful mixture of local fresh products., beautifully presented. The staff were always on hand to answer questions and offer help. The poolbar, run by the lovely Maria, was again a very friendly place to sit and chat . The food on offer was excellent and portions big enough to share. The reception staff and manager were so helpful in organising taxis, giving tips of where to go , what to see and where to eat. A superb experience , already planning our return. 💕
