There was nothing we didn't like, but it's worth noting that there is no lift and as it is in town, bring ear plugs if you are sensitive to noise at night.

The breakfast was absolutely outstanding. Made to order in the open kitchen, by the private chef; Alexandra, breakfast was a delightful experience each day. Served by Chris, who was attentive and welcoming, we enjoyed delicious pastries, fresh fruit, greek yoghurt, homemade granola, and eggs cooked however you chose, plus delicious homemade cheese pie or spinach pie! Some mornings we spent 1.5 hrs enjoying the whole experience and chatting with Alexandra and Chris. The hotel itself is beautifully appointed, filled with bespoke pieces of artwork and furniture, flowers and plants. In particular the outdoor dining area was peaceful and tranquil. The rooms are spacious and luxurious (we had the pleasure of staying in room 7 & room 8). The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were well appointed and spacious. The best thing about this hotel is that it doesn't feel like a hotel. With only 8 rooms, it feels like a home from home, more like a guesthouse (albeit a very luxurious one!) where you felt like a well looked after member of the family. The other big plus is the location - in the most beautiful part of town, still within walking distance to the centre, on the water and a moment from the lovely waterside park and tavernas. We can't wait to go back!

This was easily one of the best hotel stays we’ve ever had. Every member of the staff was so attentive and kind and generous. The room was elegant and comfortable and the breakfast incredibly delicious. When we arrived late after ferry delays Stratos greeted us so warmly that we instantly felt safe and warm. After dinner nearby he recommended and showed us to a gorgeous patisserie where we got stunning baklava which really added to an already lovely evening. With an early flight we thought we’d have to skip breakfast but somehow against all odds we were fed fresh bread, homemade jam, eggs with salmon, tea, coffee and warm pastries in a matter of minutes. The staff made us feel so special - truly a beautiful establishment.

Lovely cosy hotel with fantastic staff who make you feel very welcome. Christopher and Stratos at front of the house can’t do enough for you and Alexandra in the kitchen is superb her breakfasts are legendary no need to eat for the rest of the day with her delicious homemade food.

There is absolutely nothing I would suggest changing!

I loved the fact that Stratos met me outside the minute my taxi pulled up and offered help bringing my luggage into my room. I also thought it was very nice that Stratos offered me a drink, and the Aperol Spritz was fantastic! Breakfast was also delicious. The room was exquisite, and the boutique hotel overall was above and beyond my expectations. So beautiful!!! Service was outstanding!!! I have never experienced this level of service anywhere else before!

Unfortunately we missed our connection in Athens missing our overnight stay.

The breakfast was outstanding, served in their garden patio. It included a variety of homemade treats followed by a freshly prepared choice of breakfast. It was just the best!

There is nothing not to like here.

This place is superb! The accommodation is extremely classy and the hosts are a delight! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The best breakfast we have ever had anywhere !!! From the freshly squeezed orange juice , to the sublime cheese slice , homemade cakes, warm bread and superbly cooked omelettes! The location is great with stunning water views. Thankyou for your incredible hospitality !

This is a little gem - tastefully renovated, with amazing homemade food (think jam made yesterday and soft feta cheese pie), and brilliant staff. Security is provided by a very cute mini schnauzer dog, Ira :)

closes off season would have been a go to destination for the winter. but everything else was fantastic

wonderful staff. Especially Dimitri, got red carport service. all of the staff were brilliant. breakfast was delicious. they served really good cocktails. i now have a special merlín KumQuat Gin on my list. Owner was very kind had the cutest Dog. i got a real home feel from Acanthus. will definitely stay here again if i return to Corfu. room facilities were exceptional. very spacious. special breakfast and the best homemade jam i’ve ever had.

Everything in the control of the hotel was perfect. Unfortunately, the courtyard and entrance area was full of mosquitoes. Perhaps setting up mosquito candles or similar might be helpful.

Beautiful modern design with an eye for detail. Directly next to the sea and close to many restaurants and only a walk away from the airport. Fresh á la carte breakfast in a beautiful courtyard.

Some rooms are better than others! However you pay for the type of room!

Great boutique hotel with close proximity to Corfu town! Amazing service, Stratos and Alexandra and the rest of the staff are amazing! Such a cute family boutique hotel. It has about 8 or 9 rooms so can even be booked out for big groups! Rooms are very modern yet classy and super clean! The hotel also has some interior design touches that I really liked!

Beautifully designed boutique hotel, with wonderful attention to detail everywhere. I particularly loved the stunning murano glass light fixtures in my room. The staff were gracious and very helpful. The delicious breakfast was served on a shady patio and was so generous that I couldn't finish everything. From the hotel it is an easy and scenic 10 minute walk along the waterfront to get to the Old Town. One night was not enough at this hotel, I hope to go back some day!

Exceeded our expectations for a 3-star property. Really fantastic property… beautiful and comfortable room, great location. You can walk to the water, walk to multiple great restaurants, and walk to the airport!
