Simon and Anna have a lovely home that is beautifully set up for guests. Perfectly clean and very comfortable accommodations. They are skilled gardeners, making their grounds very colorful. Breakfast was a delight too!!!

There was nothing to dislike about Urquhart Bay B&B , but from about 07:00 you can hear the traffic, it didn’t matter to us as we are usually awake at that time .

Fantastic location, Annie and Simon are great hosts , lovely bedroom with tea and coffee facilities along with a slice of home made cake , bath room is large with a bath and double shower all very modern and spotlessly clean . The view from the bedroom is of Loch Ness which is just wonderful, breakfast is fantastic. During our time in Scotland we stayed at 3 different B&Bs all around the same price but Urquhart Bay stood out as the best . Would recommend to anyone .

Room is small and you bump your head when sorting your bags if you use the provided bench.

Gorgeous views, thoughtfully appointed room with the most comfortable bedding. The grounds are beautiful, and there are comfortable common areas for lounging. Breakfast was outstanding. Our host was very helpful and booked a reservation for dinner for us.

Nothing, it was absolutely perfect!

This was a stunning romantic retreat, situated across from the Loch with a beautiful view from the bedroom window! The room was cozy, spotless and spacious with personal touches throughout including mince pies, a coffee maker and milk. The bathroom was large with a claw bath, with so much space for toiletries. The property itself was gorgeous, with a cozy lounge space and a path along the back leading to a perfect view of Urquhart castle. Simon our host was friendly, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was fabulous- fresh and generous - full English offered alongside an array of continental options. You can tell that a lot of heart and attention to detail goes into this properly by the hosts and it made for a perfect stay! Would 100% come again!

If I tried I couldn't find a critique of our experience, except for not having the insight to spend two nights rather than just the one.

Being in the hospitality business, we immediately knew, on arrival, that we were in for a memorable experience! The location is convenient, beautifully appointed with a very comfortable room, well equipped bathroom and a very delicious breakfast. Our host directed us to a wonderful walk on the hills overlooking the Loch and Urquhart Castle. They also pointed us to a great dinner in the very nearby village. It was every bit the dream we envisioned when we reserved the property and I highly recommend travelers avail themselves of the great opportunity to spend some time at Urquhart Bay

Host Simon was super nice and friendly. Location near to the castle and a 1.7km walk to Lewiston. Beautiful view of the bay and lovely garden. Room was nice. Beds a bit soft. Bathroom amazing! Nice to wake up to birds singing but traffic noise present too. Breakfast was awesome!! Homemade jams and delicious full breakfast.

We loved the warm greeting we received, the thoughtful suggestions for where to visit while we were in the area such as the Tain pottery and Dunrobin castle. The delicious breakfast prepared for us was topnotch!

Annie & Simon's place has all kinds of nicely touch and I particularly impressed by the beautiful garden they have. My room has nice view of the Loch Ness and it is spotlessly clean. Simon is very kind to check the boat cruises and bus schedule, always helpful and accessible.

Absolutely lovely house right on Loch Ness. The room was very clean & really comfortable — en-suite bathroom had a great shower & bath. Good quality tea & coffee in the room with homemade banana-bread! Hosts were so kind & helpful, we felt very relaxed. There was even a separate guest living room downstairs for us to relax in. Breakfast was delicious & very large! We were blown away by this stay!

Our staying at Urquhart Bay B&B was super pleasant. The location is amazing, with a wonderful view on the lake and, of course, closed to Urquhart Castle. The B&B is managed with a heart-felt passion by Annie and Simon, indeed two beautiful souls - they make you feel at home. Everything, from the breakfast room to the garden, from the common room to the bedrooms is furnished with taste and an incredible attention to details. The breakfast was rich and fresh, and I loved the chance to have a really nice and friendly chat with Simon during it. A must stay while visiting Loch Ness.

Oh, my goodness! Scrumptious options and quality of breakfast food, some of the items from their own garden. The attention to detail within the house and outside on the property was just meticulous and so peaceful. Location was stunning overlooking Loch Ness. The hosts were so welcoming and helpful with directions and local advice, just lovely people. Comfortable bed and HUGE bathroom, recently remodeled older home.
