As it's a busy (thriving and popular) hostel, you will encounter noise from neighbouring bedrooms/dorms as well as people's comings and goings, and the trains. This didn't bother us at all, despite us being oldies compared to the other young people staying! We us d the provided earplugs and slept really well. The convenience and the other pros more than make up for it, and it's value for money and location are hard to match. We stayed two nights and on the second night it was significantly more quiet, so I guess it depends. You'll be out enjoying yourselves anyway!

Friendly staff, easy check in, safe and secure premises. We booked a bedroom for two people, which was very clean and comfortable with towels provided, a kettle, drinking water and a fan. The beds were comfortable. We found the showers to be clean and hot. We enjoyed the breakfast served in the bar in the morning - toast, cereal, fruit, juice, tea and coffee. Really nice pub downstairs. Extremely handy for Waterloo trains and tube, as well as local buses, easily walkable to the South Bank, London Eye and Westminster. Fun neighbourhood in Lower Marsh, with eateries, shops, cafés etc on the doorstep is a bonus.

As stated it is super loud, we weren't expecting this loud. The trains run from 6am-12pm and are incredibly loud and squeaky. Ambulance sounds are loudest I've heard in any country. We we're on the top floor so WiFi had a poor connection and some days didn't work at all. Stairs are very narrow and steep if you have a lot of luggage and need to lug it up 4 flights. Similar to a lot of European countries but I wasn't aware of this on booking

Hostel was centralled located in London. We had a private room which was nice. Bathrooms facilites were clean. Free breakfast was a bonus. Pad lock codes were a bonus for security. For price, is okay.

The room could be a bit cleaner and the bathrooms needed some work. Many of the waste pails were not cleaned and they were overflowing a bit

Right next to the train line, and the walls/floors are paper thin so can be quite noisy. It was ok for us in the end as we are good sleepers, but might be too much for some.

Great location close to central London, 10 min walk to Big Ben. Friendly staff and facilities generally good.

There is no dedicated space to put your accessories and overall there is no storage space near beds. The toilet is small but it does provide soap, toilet paper and a hand dryer.

All of the staff were amazingly friendly and welcoming. The location couldn't be more perfect and the price is unbelievably low for London.

Convenient location right near stations and lots of London’s attractions. The room was spacious and great facilities offered through bathroom, kitchen and free breakfast.

The facilities are very much the bare essentials. One toilet per floor and very few plug sockets in the shared rooms. The only place to chill out is at the bar which is a great environment when feeling social but it's often busy and loud so not great if you want somewhere to relax
