The hosts provided all the extra necessaties to start a self catering stay, including washing tabs milk bread etc. Could not he happier even if it did rain all week haha it was a perfect place to stay dry and feel like you are at home, all be it a more beautiful one. Nothing to not like.

Very spacious cottage, and very comfortable. Well equipped kitchen. Ideal base for exploring Loch Lomond and surrounding areas. Really cosy and has a fabulous conservatory. Only stayed 2 nights but would happily stay much longer next time.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and really enjoyed this lovely old 19th C building conversion. It has beautiful handcut stone walls exposed throughout the interior and well-maintained, high-quality features. I think the photos make it look darker and more cramped than it is (which is always a nice surprise!). If you're an architecture/renovation junkie, you'll love this spot. Though the furniture and decor were a bit worn and outdated, the lodge was very comfortable and well laid out. With the only bedroom on an open mezzanine level, it's really only comfortable for a couple, but with a lounge and large conservatory, it has a generous amount of living space for just two people. With the exception of a decent set of Russel Hobbs knives, the kitchenware was sparse and basic, but on par with most holiday lets at the same price point (in my experience). The location was perfect for attending a wedding at the Cruin, with a well-defined footpath all the way along to the venue. Yet it was quiet and secluded enough to feel like we were on a quiet getaway in between festivities. The bathroom light on a sensor left me soapy and in the dark a couple of times, but overall the lodge is comfortable and the managers helpful and communicative. I would definitely stay again.

bit of an issue getting Wi-Fi and tv to work as didn’t revive the welcome email (with codes + Wi-Fi) but for how much we used it it didn’t really matter, and staff helped by resending info.

beautiful property, cosy and good area. very clean and nice little welcome package in fridge ie bread juice wine !

Location near a busy road, so hearing the traffic. No Sky TV & no DVD’s available.

Clean, cosy and comfortable and in our ideal location. There was everything we needed. We had a lovely welcome gift of wine & other goodies.

    We enjoyed it all.

We loved the location of the lodge, very convenient for trips to Luss, Balloch and Loch Lomond Shores. The lodge was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for the perfect weekend stay. The added bonus of essential food items and a bottle of wine was a lovely touch which we really appreciated.

Location was only issue as it was a good 30 minute walk to nearest bar/restaurant (Duck bay inn),great though if you like to be away from it all.

Fantastic property and wine in fridge was a nice touch on arrival.
